Here’s a little about the term “Occupy.” I am excited to invest the lessons of my own experiences and knowledge into our community as we learn what it truly means to OCCUPY.
Make sure you follow along + tag a friend who may benefit as well!

James 3:13–14 (ESV): 13 Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth.

You can only love someone to the degree that you love yourself. Around this time last year, I was in the process of producing a series called The Intersection - a program that explores the intersection of faith & culture.

8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath!
Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.

For those of you who may be new here, I am going to take a moment from time to time to tell you a little about me… let’s start with my fav Bible verse….John 1:14.
This verse is important because it defines me. It represents the intersection of faith and culture; that is where you’ll find me and all of my work.
I am excited you are here and I hope you stay connected with me to learn more about all that’s coming along the way.

I believe that God can take anyone and do incredible things with them. @NYCMayor is an example of that. Yesterday, Mayor Adams joined us at @CCCinfoorg to share the story that led him to be the 110th mayor of New York City.
How do you feel about faith and politics? If God is in control of human history, He must be influencing those in power.
Share your thoughts.

This was a powerful moment between @BishopJakes and me. I am looking forward to even more of these moments with Bishop Jakes, @NHCLC, @MarcelloTunasi, @ApostleGM, and @GregToussaint this weekend (July 13-16).

Given the recent conversation regarding relationships, respectability, and partnership, I want to discuss the idea of ‘principle.’
A principle is a broad and basic truth that has no respect of person. It applies when people apply it correctly and can experience the benefits from it.
My book, “Four Things Women Want from a Man” identifies four traits toward a happy and long-lasting relationship. You can purchase anywhere books are sold.
What principles do you carry with you in your personal relationships (platonic, professional, personal, or romantic)?

As long as the Earth remains, there’s going to be change. It's a change you can count on. It's a change you can prepare for, because it's predictable.
