🚨 John Healey has admitted that businesses have been under 'a lot of pressure' because of Labour's Unemployment Act, higher taxes and endless red tape.

Simply astonishing🤯
Lucy Powell said the pay rise was fully funded. The National Education Union celebrated it despite warnings from many head teachers and the Conservatives that this wasn’t true.
Now we find out SEND staff are being cut to fund the pay rise. Total chaos from Lucy Powell and it’s our must vulnerable children who are suffering.

Iran's Foreign Minister is getting a platform in Britain that his people are killed for in Iran.
He claims he wants “to give diplomacy another chance” and doesn't want escalation, but he is threatening our people and his IRGC bosses are murdering thousands across the Middle East, including recently civilians in Riyadh and Yemen.
No wonder @FT switched off the comments. His lies don't stand up to scrutiny.
Opinion: While Iran is firmly committed to seeking a dignified peaceful resolution to the conflict, we are also fully prepared to defend ourselves, writes Abbas Araghchi, the country's foreign minister ft.trib.al/NqUhFmq

Approving Jackdaw is the right first step, but now the Government needs to go further.
End their ban on new licences, scrap the windfall tax, approve Rosebank, secure our energy, and back British jobs.
The Prime Minister dodges ANOTHER question on the Man City fiasco.... this time from @JeromeMayhew
"Next week at the Budget the Prime Minister has a choice.
"Cut spending. Cut the deficit. Cut tax. That is the Conservative plan. A plan that even his former economic adviser Andy Haldane says is the better way.
"So will he follow that plan or will he bottle it, just like Keir Starmer did?"
@KemiBadenoch #PMQs
"This morning inflation rose to 3.5%, the third rise in a row.
"Families are paying higher bills and more for their weekly shop and it's leading to higher mortgage rates.
"Does the Prime Minister accept that his failure to control borrowing is contributing to higher inflation?"
@KemiBadenoch #PMQs
"The only solution to the challenges facing our country is to cut spending and cut borrowing.
"The out-of-work benefits bill is set to rise by £50 billion under Labour.
"So will the Prime Minister get a grip and cut the welfare bill?"
@KemiBadenoch #PMQs
"There is a red warning light flashing on the economy.
"Just this morning, total government borrowing hit £3 trillion, its highest ever.
"That’s £100,000 for every household in the country.
"Even the Prime Minister's former economic adviser, Andy Haldane has warned that Britain faces 'a precarious fiscal backdrop'.
"So what is the Prime Minister doing to get borrowing down?"
@KemiBadenoch #PMQs
"In July, the Prime Minister said, 'The question isn’t whether Britain will still be using oil and gas, the question is where does it come from?'
"He was right. Does the Prime Minister accept that every barrel of North Sea oil we produce is a barrel that Europe won't buy from Vladimir Putin?"
@KemiBadenoch #PMQs
"The Conservatives first approved Jackdaw in 2022.
"Rather than fighting the leftie activists that tried to block it, Labour appointed one of them as Energy Secretary!"
@KemiBadenoch #PMQs
"Britain cannot be a serious player on the world stage if the Government dithers for 2 ½ years over approving a single licence.
"We have the resources, the expertise and the people. What we have lost is the confidence to make tough decisions.
"So will the Prime Minister now overturn Labour's ban on all new oil and gas licences?"
@KemiBadenoch #PMQs

After months of dithering and delay, Conservative pressure has finally forced Labour to approve Jackdaw.
This should be the start, not the end. Labour must approve Rosebank, end the ban on new drilling licences, and scrap the Energy Profits Levy

Borrowing up. Inflation up.
Labour have lost control of the economy.
And in next week's Budget, you'll pay for it.

At last. Finally the Labour Government have done the right thing and approved Jackdaw.
But this should be the beginning,not the end. Let’s maximise recovery. Let’s overturn the ban. Let’s scrap the EPL. Let’s Get Britain Drilling.

Finally. Labour spent 2 years faffing about to make a decision which Conservatives had already approved 2 years ago.
If they’d done this in the summer we’d have had that gas heating British homes this Christmas.
An unnecessary waste of time and money by a party that puts its own interest above the country’s.
