Last week, before the storm hit, the 79th Basic got in an early morning circuit workout. Yesterday began week 4 for the class!
People of Earth: Hey CCPD, how’s the fitness course coming along?
CCPD Academy: I’m so glad you asked! It’s ready for the big stage.
Check back later this week for pics of the finished wall and window.

We all hope to be able to get back in the (traditional) gym soon. Until then, Training Officer Parker is maintaining with some functional fitness. BTW, the 78th Basic were right behind him. @CCPDVa @CcpdRecruiting #gains #fitness #RecruitsGettingPaidToWorkout

A virus might keep us from being “together” but it won’t keep us from honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their communities. We #NeverForget. #NationalPoliceWeek #protectandserve #ccpdva

I'm so grateful for our dedicated team of DT instructors, who adapt to whatever challenges come their way and continue to provide excellent training to your @CCPDVa police recruits.
Although this looks like story time, it's actually the 78th Basic debriefing their grueling day of defensive tactics training. #WearAMask

Just a few more days until the 1st Police Service Aide Academy graduates. You will start seeing them on the streets of C-field next week! @CCPDACADEMY @CCPDVa @CcpdRecruiting
Today, the fine folks from our local @MissionBBQ stopped by the Training Academy to provide some delicious food. We thank you for the support and generosity, especially right now.

The 78th Basic started their journey to become police officers a few weeks ago. They may not see it yet, but the journey will be worth it. #firmbutfair #newuniforms @CcpdRecruiting @CCPDVa
Salute to the 78th Basic. It is VERY tough at the beginning, but we see pushing to finish your first full week with your new friends...the training officers.
