Tamil Nadu has 9 Urban Agglomeration with 10+ lakh population concentrated within 400 sqkm area (2500+ per sqkm). Those are Chennai (1.3 Cr), Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruppur, Trichy, Salem, Puducherry-Cuddalore, Erode-Komarapalayam, and Vellore-Ranipet holding ~35% TN population.

முற்றிய தர்க்கம்: அதிகாரிகளின் இந்தச் செயலால் ஆத்திரமடைந்த பொதுமக்களுக்கும், காவல் துறையினருக்கும் இடையே கடும் வாக்குவாதமும் தள்ளுமுள்ளும் ஏற்பட்டது. மக்களின் நியாயமான கோரிக்கைகளைக் கேட்க மறுத்து, அவர்களை அவமதித்த அதிகாரிகளைக் கண்டித்துப் பலர் எதிர்ப்புத் தெரிவித்தனர்.

Do you know the dream of the Cauvery Delta is a direct coastal rail loop connecting Karaikal to Sirkazhi via Tharangambadi & Thirukadayur?
Once, it was even surveyed to haul coal directly from Karaikal Port to proposed power plants, bypassing the long detour via Tiruvarur. But railways ultimately prioritized reviving the shorter Peralam route instead!
Under present conditions, this line is highly unlikely. But who knows—it could change anytime if political will favors it.

Scale & Draft: ~1,200 acres with an 18-meter natural basin draft, capable of accommodating Capesize vessels.
Capacity Target: Scalable from 13.5 MMTPA (Phase 1) up to 40 MMTPA at full buildout.
Layout & Connectivity: Twin protective breakwaters surrounding multi-purpose berths, backed by direct heavy-duty rail sidings and a multi-lane spur to NH 32.

Cuddalore GH hospital road lamp cables are getting replaced with new ones. The road went fully dark since yesterday evening. So please drive very carefully in this stretch during the late evening.
I saw a special lamp getting installed before the Post office near the circuit house. I guess they are doing it because some ministers are visiting the circuit house often. I wish the repaired road lamps which were not functioning on one side then and there are also rectified. All the road lamps along the post office to Chavadi stretch must be checked.
This road cannot left dark as accidents might increase due to high traffic volumes and intersections. @Cuddalore_Corp @cudcollector must speed up the ongoing road lamp and cable rectification works.

திருச்சி சத்திரம் பேருந்து நிலையத்திலிருந்து இயக்கப்பட்டு வந்த கடலூர் மார்க்கமான அனைத்து பேருந்துகளும் பஞ்சப்பூர் பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் இருந்து புறப்படும் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
திருச்சி பஞ்சப்பூரில் கடந்த திமுக ஆட்சியில் புதிதாக ஒருங்கிணைந்த பேருந்து நிலையம் அமைக்கப்பட்டது. இதன் பின்னர் திருச்சி மத்திய பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் இருந்து இயக்கப்பட்ட அனைத்து புறநகர் பேருந்துகளும் பஞ்சப்பூர் பேருந்து நிலையத்திலிருந்து இயக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
ஆனால் சத்திரம் பேருந்து நிலையத்திலிருந்து பெரம்பலூர், அரியலூர், கடலூர் மார்கத்தில் புறநகர் பேருந்துகள் இயக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. பஞ்சப்பூர் பேருந்து நிலையம் தொடங்கப்பட்ட பின்னரும் இந்த புறநகர் பேருந்துகள் சத்திரம் பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் இருந்து மட்டுமே இயக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
இதன் காரணமாக சத்திரம் பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் போக்குவரத்து நெருக்கடி அதிக அளவில் இருந்தது. இதனால் சத்திரம் பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் இருந்து இறக்கப்படும் புறநகர் பேருந்துகள் அனைத்தும் பஞ்சப்பூர் பேருந்து நிலையத்திலிருந்து இயக்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்று கோரிக்கை எழுந்தது.
இந்த வகையில் முதல் கட்டமாக திருச்சி சத்திரம் பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் இருந்து பெரம்பலூர், தொழுதூர், திட்டக்குடி, விருதாச்சலம் வழியாக கடலூருக்கு இயக்கப்பட்டு வரும் புறநகர் பேருந்துகள் அனைத்தும் இன்று (21ம் தேதி) முதல் பஞ்சப்பூர் பேருந்து நிலையத்திலிருந்து புறப்படும் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
பஞ்சப்பூர் ஒருங்கிணைந்த பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் 13, 14 நடைமேடைகளில் இருந்து புறப்படும் இந்த கடலூர் மார்க்கமான பேருந்துகள் மத்திய பேருந்து நிலையம், சத்திரம் பேருந்து நிலையம் வழியாக கடலூர் செல்லும் என்று மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அறிவுறுத்தலின் பேரில் போக்குவரத்து கழகம் இந்த புதிய அறிவிப்பை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
