The team learned about key figures in Mexican art and had the opportunity to discuss Cemex's purpose and commitment to more sustainable development with the Ambassador @bjc_agua ♻️
@GOVUK's Industrial Strategy has missed the opportunity to develop a more strategic approach to the UK's domestic mineral supply, according to @MineralProduct.
Whilst it recognises cement, concrete, construction, and asphalt as foundational industries, the MPA believes it should have extended to essential aggregates and industrial minerals, key to both construction and manufacturing.

We were honoured to welcome the Valencian Business Confederation’s CSR commission to our Alicante cement plant 🏭
The commission was given a tour of the site and learned about Cemex's sustainability projects, such as its sludge treatment facility ♻️

The facility is an example of public-private sector collaboration and promotes circularity by converting sewage waste into fuel for the cement kiln, thus avoiding its disposal in landfills.

We were privileged to host the latest meeting of the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development at our Sv. Juraj cement plant.
The council consists of leading companies in Croatia, focussing on responsible business, environmental protection and wider social issues.
Recently, we welcomed @Sandomendi and José Borjón from @EmbamexPolonia to our Rudniki Cement plant in Poland.
We had the opportunity to discuss Rudniki's roadmap to decarbonisation, as well as the challenges currently facing the Polish cement sector.
