I really appreciate @ClayTravis having the BALLS to say what everyone is thinking…Conference officials protect the top teams in their conferences… It would have been perfect if he also had just made the point that they also do this within their own conferences. ex: FSU vs Miami

IDIOTIC TAKE. If you think this is just a Notre Dame problem, because they need to join a conference, then ask FSU how they feel about their game against Miami. Even within conferences, there’s an incentive to protect the top teams. Need to eliminate conference officials entirely

We need to eliminate conference-affiliated officials entirely. Officials should be full-time NCAA employees with absolutely no conference affiliations. The NCAA has more than enough money to make that happen.

Notre Dame fell to 6-1 on the season with the loss in Provo.
Cox, a Utah State graduate, is serving his second term as Utah’s governor.
Why do these articles never talk about WHY officials still get calls wrong when they’re black & white. What could the motivation be for BIG 12 REFS to not add 1 second? Heaven forbid we actually question someone’s motivation or integrity instead of just blaming it on incompetence
