Interviewer: “Tell me about yourself.”
Candidate: “I’m 24 years old. I was born in one state but grew up in another. I enjoy watching movies, playing video games, and going to the gym. I’m a quiet person, I don’t like dishonesty, and I hate people who look down on others.”
The interviewer paused.
Interviewer: “Okay. What makes you a good fit for this position?”
Candidate: “I’m hardworking, respectful, and willing to learn. I graduated last year, and I’m looking for a company where I can grow.”
Interviewer: “What experience do you have that’s relevant to this job?”
Candidate: “I worked in a retail store while I was in college. I helped customers, handled payments, restocked shelves, and sometimes dealt with complaints.”
Interviewer: “Can you tell me about a time you solved a problem at work?”
Candidate: “I don’t really know what to say.”
Interviewer: “You just told me you hate dishonesty. Can you give me an example of when you dealt with it?”
Candidate: “I haven’t really had that kind of situation.”
Interviewer: “Then why did you mention it?”
Candidate: “Because you asked me to tell you about myself.”
The interviewer put down his pen………..

My family called me selfish for keeping the $12,000 my father left me.
Then I discovered why my older brother was so desperate to get his hands on it.
My father passed away on a Sunday morning.
He wasn’t a wealthy man. He drove a delivery truck for nearly 30 years, wore the same old watch every day, and believed that wasting food was a bigger sin than buying cheap shoes.
But he had saved quietly for years.
After the funeral, my father’s attorney called me into his office and explained that Dad had left me $12,000.
My brother, Marcus, received the house.
I received the money.
At first, I didn’t understand why Dad had divided things that way. Marcus had always been the successful one in the family. He had a good job, a nice car, and a beautiful home.

Passenger: “My flight leaves in 25 minutes. Why are you telling me I can’t board?”
Gate Agent: “Your boarding pass has been flagged. I need to verify something before I can clear you.”
Passenger: “Verify what? I’ve checked in, I’ve passed security, and my passport is valid.”
Gate Agent: “I understand, sir. Please give me a moment.”
Passenger: “I’ve been giving you moments for the last 15 minutes. Everyone else is already on the plane.”
Gate Agent: “I’m trying to resolve this.”
Passenger: “Then call your supervisor.”
The agent called her supervisor, who arrived carrying a tablet.
Supervisor: “Sir, we need you to step aside while we review your booking.”
Passenger: “I’m not stepping aside. You’re about to close the gate on me, and nobody can tell me why.”
Supervisor: “If you continue holding up the boarding process, we may have to involve airport security.”
The passenger looked at the gate agent.
Passenger: “Have you actually checked my passport against the reservation?”
The agent hesitated.
Gate Agent: “The system says your document details don’t match.”
Passenger: “Which details?”
She turned the monitor slightly toward herself, checked the document number, and then opened the booking history.
Gate Agent: “Sir, did you change your passport recently?”
Passenger: “Six weeks ago. I updated my details when I booked the return flight.”
The supervisor leaned toward the screen.
Supervisor: “That shouldn’t matter. The reservation is confirmed.”
Gate Agent: “It matters if the old document number is still attached to the outbound segment.”
She checked again.
Then she stopped typing.

Landlord: “You have until the end of the month to leave my property.”
Tenant: “Leave? I’ve lived here for eleven years. What happened?”
Landlord: “I’m selling the house. The new owner wants it vacant.”
Tenant: “Then give me the proper notice. I’ve paid my rent every year.”
Landlord: “I’m giving you notice now.”
Tenant: “You gave me a text message yesterday saying I should leave in two weeks.”
Landlord: “Two weeks should be enough time to find somewhere else.”
Tenant: “With three children in school? You expect me to find another house, pay an agent, pay a deposit, and move everything in fourteen days?”
Landlord: “That’s not my problem. It’s my property.”
Tenant: “I’ve never owed you a single day of rent. When your wife was hospitalized, you asked me for a loan. I gave you $4,000, and you promised to repay me within three months.”
Landlord: “Don’t bring personal matters into this.”
Tenant: “You haven’t repaid a dollar in four years.”
Landlord: “I said I’d pay you when I could.”
Tenant: “And I never threatened you. I never embarrassed you. I gave you time because I thought we had a good relationship.”
Landlord: “That has nothing to do with the house.”

One morning, on my way to work, I found a wallet lying on the ground.
This thing was ridiculously thick, at least three inches, packed with cash, bank cards, receipts, and all sorts of stuff.
I checked the details inside and realized the owner lived about 15 minutes away.
Instead of waiting for someone to claim it, I decided to drive to his house and return it personally.
When I knocked on his door and asked if he'd lost a wallet, his face told me everything. Sure enough, it was his.
I handed it back, and just as I was getting into my car, he came over to my passenger-side window.
He offered me a restaurant gift card.
I told him he didn't need to give me anything, but he dropped it onto my passenger seat, walked away, and shouted, "It's the least I can do!"
When I got home, I took a closer look at the card.......

Hey @Grok, someone earns $10,000 monthly but spends everything.
Another person earns $3,000 monthly but invests consistently.
Who is actually richer in the long run?
Explain your answer without sugarcoating anything.
One day, a man complained to his friend,
“My wife is no longer the woman I married.
She used to dress beautifully, smile all the time, and make me feel special.
Now, she is always tired. She barely has time for herself, and sometimes she falls asleep before I even get home.
I feel like I married a different woman.”
His friend listened carefully and asked,
“Tell me something. Who wakes up early to prepare breakfast for your children?”
“My wife,” the man answered.
“Who makes sure they have clean clothes for school?”
“My wife.”
“Who stays awake when one of them is sick?”
“My wife.”
“Who remembers your favorite food, your appointments, and all those little things you forget?”
The man lowered his head.
“My wife.”
His friend paused and said,
“Then tell me, my brother, when was the last time you asked your wife if she was okay?”

A woman at the airport was told she had to pay $180 because her suitcase was overweight.
What happened next turned a routine check-in into an argument nobody around her could ignore.
Passenger: “How much am I over the limit?”
Agent: “Seven pounds, ma’am.”
Passenger: “And how much do I have to pay?”
Agent: “$180.”
The woman stared at her.
“$180? I’m not carrying bricks. It’s just clothes.”
Agent: “I understand, but the baggage allowance is 50 pounds.”
Passenger: “My ticket cost $640. You’re telling me I have to pay another $180 because of seven pounds?”

Father: You cannot marry my daughter. You are AS, and she is AS.
Boy: Sir, I love your daughter. We've been together for four years.
Father: I know. But have you thought about the children you want to have?
Boy: Yes, sir. That's why I wanted us to talk.
Father: My neighbour has a son with sickle cell disease. I've watched that family struggle with hospital bills for years. The boy is always in pain, and his parents are exhausted. I don't want my daughter to go through that.
Boy: I understand, sir. But neither of us chose our genotype.
Father: I'm not blaming you. I'm trying to protect my daughter and her future children.
Boy: So you want me to leave her after four years because of something neither of us chose?
Father: I don't have an easy answer. I just don't want you both to ignore the risk.
Boy: Sir, we're willing to speak with a genetic counsellor and understand our options.
Father: And if you discover that having children together carries a serious risk?
Boy: Then we will have to decide what is best for our future. But please, don't make that decision for us before we've even had the chance to understand our options.
Father: Let me think about it.
He left the house, unsure whether he would ever be accepted into the family.
Four years together. Marriage plans already made. Now, everything was uncertain.
But the next day, the girl's father called him back.

How can we expect bandits to abandon kidnapping when they are making millions from ransom payments?
Today, peace negotiations take place; tomorrow, ransom is collected, and innocent Nigerians continue to suffer. People are being kidnapped, families are forced to sell their belongings to secure the release of loved ones, and communities are living in constant fear.
As long as banditry remains profitable, what incentive do they have to stop?
Peace cannot be achieved through negotiations alone without accountability, effective security measures, and efforts to dismantle the criminal networks financing these attacks. Nigerians deserve lasting peace, not a cycle of negotiations, ransom payments, and renewed violence. 💔🇳🇬
