Tim Elko is back in Charlotte and is expected to be officially optioned tomorrow
Three guys on rehab in Charlotte including Andrew Benintendi and Mike Tauchman who were both not in the lineup tonight for the Knights
@FutureSox @TripleAJeff
Connor Mohan - Wake Forest (JR.)
Mohan is an intriguing arm after transferring in from Texas Tech last season and pitching on the Cape this past summer
Good pitch including some chase pitches to backup a mid 90’s FB
@WFPlayerDev @WakeBaseball @connormohann
Cole Green - Wake Forest (JR. - Rice Transfer)
Green, a NC native transferred after spending 2 seasons with the Rice Owls
Good bat to ball skills & plate discipline leads to a high floor at worst offensively for Green
@WFPlayerDev @WakeBaseball @cole5green
Alexander Peck - Wake Forest (SO.)
Peck is a transfer bat from Arkansas that the coaching staff is high on and should be in the top/middle of the order and get a lot of ABs for the Demon Deacons in the Spring
@WFPlayerDev @WakeBaseball @AlexanderPeck10
David Hinojosa - Wake Forest (FR.)
Hinojosa was a 15th Round Pick by the Reds this past summer but decided to make his way to campus instead
FB in mid 90’s with good off-speed to back it up, should be a name to follow going forward
@WFPlayerDev @WakeBaseball
Gavin Kelly - West Virginia (JR.)
One of the most interesting players for the 2027 Draft
Kelly hit over .380 with an OPS over 1.200 last year and is super athletic, should be a 1st Rounder next summer
@WVUBaseball @gavin_kelly18
Matt Ineich - West Virginia (JR.)
Ineich is an INF with versatility and has a solid plate approach and high contact rate. Should be a name to watch out for in the ‘27 or ‘28 Draft Class
@WVUBaseball @IneichMatt
Evan Jones - Wake Forest (SO.)
Jones pitched well for the Demon Dewcons last year as freshman and in a small sample size on the Cape this past summer… he is expected to be one of the top players in the 2028 Draft Class
@WFPlayerDev @WakeBaseball @EvanJonesy_15
Cameron Bagwell - Wake Forest (JR.)
Another one of the many Demon Deacons arms that they have to pick from and should be a draft arm in one of the next two classes
@WFPlayerDev @WakeBaseball @cameronbags7
Isaac Sturgess - Wake Forest (JR.)
Another transfer bat that should get a lot of ABs and make an impact this spring got the Demon Deacons here he is with a 2 Run HR
Hit over .300 last year at Michigan State
@WFPlayerDev @WakeBaseball @sturgess_isaac
Gabe Fraser - Wake Forest (JR. - FSU Transfer)
Fraser hit over .300 last year for the ‘Noles & hit very well in a small sample size on the Cape this past summer
Should be a prominent bat in the middle of the Deacons lineup this year
@WFPlayerDev @WakeBaseball @GabeFraser8
Armani Guzman - West Virginia (SR.)
One of the Mountaineers leaders on and off the field that helped catalyst them to Omaha last year
Hit over .320 last year and hit well on the Cape this past summer as well
@WVUBaseball @mani_ftn
Troy Dressler - Wake Forest RHP (JR.)
Dressler is another Wake Forest arm that should be drafted in 2027, good pitch mix that pairs well with good control
@WFPlayerDev @WakeBaseball @dressler_troy
Chris Levonas - Wake Forest RHP (JR.)
Levonas was a 2nd Team All American and struck out 116 batters with an ERA below 3 for the Demon Deacons last year
One of the top 2027 Draft Arms
@WFPlayerDev @WakeBaseball @ChrisLevonas
Brett Patten - UNCC (FAU Transfer)
Patten is an experienced INF that has great plate discipline drawing multiple walks today, should be a high OBP guy in the Spring for the 49ers
@CharlotteBSB @Diamond9erRPT @BrettPatten9
Dominic Stephenson - UNCC
Another transfer for @CharlotteBSB from Georgia Tech, lots of potential with the bat here and athletic ability as well for Stephenson
@Diamond9erRPT @domstephenson19
Brett Mosley - UNCC
Mosley is another transfer to the @CharlotteBSB program, coming from Ole Miss, Moseley is another guy with a projectable frame for power potential and should be a bat in the middle of this lineup in the spring
@Diamond9erRPT @brettmoseley1
Tyler Neises - UNCC
A Georgia Tech transfer , Neises will be a prominent bat in the 49ers lineup this spring, he has power potential with a projectable frame as well and on top of that works counts really well
@CharlotteBSB @Diamond9erRPT @TylerNeises
Davis Peralta - Walters State CC
Sophomore Catcher/OF has some serious potential at the plate, hit the ball hard all night and was hitting over .570 going into this game so far this fall
@WSCCbaseball @DavisLawson11
Matthew Jenkins - UNCC RHP (Florida Transfer)
FB sits mid 90’s and has a sharp Mid 80’s SL to back that FB up, should be another intriguing spring follow
@CharlotteBSB @Diamond9erRPT @MatthewJenk24
Hunter Sloop - UNCC RHP
Former Tennessee Volunteer missed last year due to injury but should be an intriguing follow in the spring with a FB in the Mid 90’s and a good CH to back it up
