Elon Musk announced that he will restrict the term "cisgender" on twitter, declaring it a slur. This is a recycling of anti-gay tactics, which declared "straight" a slur. "Cis" has a long history, and I examine it here. Subscribe to support my work. erininthemorning.com/p/cisge…

"Cisgender" Is No More A Slur Than "Straight" Is - Elon Musk Restricts Term On Twitter

Elon Musk declared that "cis" is a slur on twitter. The word is no more a slur than "straight" or "heterosexual," and it has over a hundred years of use to describe gender identity or presentation.

D&D's encumbrance rules are okay, but the system's other mechanics can render it dramaless. Between magic existing, rations/water being light, and weapons being interchangeable, tracking what you take with you can feel like a chore. #DnD

I have reinstalled Twitter to respond to this story and make sure my voice is fully heard. I am Casey. My real name is Alex but my mom decided it would be best to hide it for anonymity. But this is my story, not hers. This is not the free press’s story.
