شارك الدكتور ماجد الأنصاري @majedalansari، مستشار رئيس مجلس الوزراء والمتحدث الرسمي باسم وزارة الخارجية، قطر؛ رئيس مركز أبحاث السياسات الدولية (#CIPR)، في جلسة بعنوان "نقاط الاختناق وسلاسل الإمداد ودبلوماسية خفض التصعيد" ضمن أعمال منتدى الأمن العالمي @GSECForum، في حوار مع السيدة فيكتوريا إيستوود، مديرة أخبار الشرق الأوسط في وكالة أسوشيتد برس. وأكد الدكتور الأنصاري خلال الجلسة أهمية مواصلة جهود الوساطة الدبلوماسية وخفض التصعيد، مشدداً على أن بناء الثقة في العملية التفاوضية واحترام دور الوسطاء، بعيداً عن الضغوط الإعلامية، يشكلان ركيزة أساسية لإنجاح جهود السلام. ودعا إلى تطوير مفهوم سلاسل إمداد السلام العالمية من خلال تكامل قدرات الدول وتعزيز التعاون متعدد الأطراف في مجالات الوساطة ومنع النزاعات وإعادة الإعمار، مؤكداً أن بناء السلام مسؤولية دولية مشتركة تتطلب معالجة الجذور العميقة للنزاعات.

Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar; President, Center for International Policy Research (#CIPR), Dr. Majed Al Ansari @majedalansari, participated in a session titled “Chokepoints, Supply Chains, and the Diplomacy of De-escalation” at the Global Security Forum @GSECForum, in conversation with Ms. Victoria Eastwood, Middle East News Director at The Associated Press. During the session, Dr. Al Ansari stressed the importance of sustaining diplomatic mediation and de-escalation efforts, noting that trust in the negotiation process and respect for the role of mediators, free from media pressure, are essential to advancing peace. He called for developing the concept of global peace supply chains by pooling countries’ capabilities and strengthening multilateral cooperation in mediation, conflict prevention, and reconstruction, affirming that peacebuilding is a shared international responsibility that requires addressing the root causes of conflicts.

As part of the Global Security Forum 2026 (#GSF2026), held under the theme “The Future of Alliances,” CIPR partnered with @GSECForum to host a closed session titled “Lessons from the Gulf and Ukraine: The Future of Warfare.” Moderated by Mr. Rashid Al-Mohanadi, Vice President of #CIPR, the session brought together Col. Robert Foster, Canada’s Defense Attaché to the State of Qatar; Mr. Ioannis “Gianni” Koskinas (@Gianni_in_Kabul), CEO, Hoplite Group, and Senior Fellow, New America; Mr. Mohammed Al-Basha (@BashaReport), Founder and Principal, Basha Report (Risk Advisory); and Mr. Fabian Hinz (@fab_hinz), Senior Analyst, Conflict Armament Research (CAR). Drawing on military, policy, risk advisory, and arms research perspectives, the speakers examined lessons from recent conflicts in the Gulf and Ukraine, and what they reveal about how wars are fought today and how they are likely to evolve.

Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar; President, Center for International Policy Research (#CIPR), Dr. Majed Al Ansari @majedalansari, met with Dr. Eldor Aripov, Director of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and HE Dr. Ashraf Khodjaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the State of Qatar. During the meeting, the two sides explored avenues for joint work and cooperation between the Center and the Institute, including research collaboration, the exchange of expertise, and dialogue on issues of mutual interest.

During a side event at the @GSECForum hosted by @ME_Council, Rashid Al-Mohanadi, Vice President of the Center for International Policy Research (CIPR), took part in the panel “From Security Guarantees to Security Networks: Regional Alliances after the U.S.-Israel-Iran War,” alongside Dr. Khalid Al-Jaber (@Aljaberzoon), Executive Director of the Middle East Council on Global Affairs; Dr. Muhanad Seloom (@MuhanadSeloom), scholar of intelligence and national security and Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Middle East Council on Global Affairs; and Brigadier General Nasser Mohammed Ghaith Al-Kuwari, Director of the Directorate of International Studies at the Center for Strategic Studies. Moderated by Amanie Geha (@amanie_geha), Journalist and TV Anchor at @AlarabyTV, the discussion examined how the war has reshaped the calculations behind #RegionalSecurity partnerships and the prospects for a locally anchored security architecture in the #MiddleEast.

CIPR took part, alongside the Center for Foreign Policy Studies and International Initiatives (CFPS) and hosted by the Center for Strategic Studies at Afghanistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a trilateral expert workshop titled "Afghanistan, Qatar and Uzbekistan: The Future of Engagement." The workshop brought together researchers from all three countries to examine prospects for cooperation on economic connectivity, trade, investment, and regional integration, alongside security, stabilization, counterterrorism, and mediation.

شارك مركز أبحاث السياسات الدولية (CIPR)، إلى جانب مركز الدراسات والسياسات الخارجية والمبادرات الدولية (CFPS) وباستضافة مركز الدراسات الاستراتيجية بوزارة الخارجية الأفغانية، في ورشة عمل ثلاثية للخبراء بعنوان "أفغانستان وقطر وأوزبكستان: مستقبل التعاون". جمعت الورشة باحثين من الدول الثلاث لبحث آفاق التعاون في مجالات الترابط الاقتصادي والتجارة والاستثمار والتكامل الإقليمي، إلى جانب الأمن والاستقرار ومكافحة الإرهاب والوساطة.

#CIPR, in cooperation with Al Qafilah Club, held a workshop in Doha titled "War and Knowledge: How Do We Read the Region's Crises?", bringing together researchers and analysts to examine the gap between real-time analysis and in-depth regional knowledge, with a focus on how recent crises are reshaping understanding of the Gulf and Arab regional order.

نظّم مركز أبحاث السياسات الدولية #CIPR بالتعاون مع نادي القافلة فعالية في الدوحة بعنوان "الحرب والمعرفة: كيف نقرأ أزمات المنطقة؟"، جمعت باحثين ومحللين لبحث الفجوة بين التحليل الآني والمعرفة المعمقة بالمنطقة، مع التركيز على ما تكشفه الأزمات الراهنة من تحولات في فهم النظام الإقليمي الخليجي والعربي.

During the first panel of #GRM2026, “Evolving Threat Landscape and Regional Security Dynamics,” Dr. @majedalansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar, and President of #CIPR, contributed to discussions on the changing nature of Gulf security. The session examined how regional conflicts, geopolitical shifts, and economic security challenges are increasingly interconnected, highlighting the importance of developing a comprehensive regional security framework that combines diplomacy, resilience, cooperation, and long-term stability.

خلال الجلسة الأولى ضمن أعمال #GRM2026 بعنوان "تحولات مشهد التهديدات وديناميكيات الأمن الإقليمي"، شارك الدكتور @majedalansari، مستشار رئيس مجلس الوزراء والمتحدث الرسمي باسم وزارة الخارجية القطرية ورئيس #CIPR، في مناقشة التحولات المتسارعة في مفهوم الأمن الخليجي. وتناولت الجلسة الترابط المتزايد بين النزاعات الإقليمية والتحولات الجيوسياسية وتحديات الأمن الاقتصادي، مع التأكيد على أهمية تطوير إطار أمني إقليمي شامل يقوم على الدبلوماسية والمرونة والتعاون وتعزيز الاستقرار طويل الأمد.

Dr. @majedalansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar, and President of #CIPR, participated in the opening session, "Regional Security from Gulf Perspectives and the Future of the Regional Order," at #GRM2026, organized by @Gulf_Research at the University of Cambridge. Dr. Al Ansari highlighted the need to redefine regional security beyond traditional military considerations to include economic resilience, energy, critical infrastructure, and maritime and aviation security. Dr. Al Ansari also stressed the importance of GCC unity, dialogue, diplomacy, and mediation, alongside balanced international partnerships founded on shared responsibility to advance regional stability, sustainable development, and long term prosperity.
