Talk about an awesome way to show off on your first date

When my buddy's grandpa found out he had a year to live, he had a 795 credit score and zero debt
He opened $180,000 in 0% credit cards across 5 banks, took his entire family to Italy for three weeks, maxed out the rest on gold coins and gifts, and died owing Chase and Amex every penny
His family paid back $0.00
Most Americans think if you die with credit card debt, the bank comes after your kids and takes their inheritance
Go read the actual law in all 50 states:
Unsecured credit card debt belongs strictly to the person who signed the application. Your children and your family have zero legal obligation to pay a single cent of your credit card bill out of their own pocket when you die
Here is how his grandpa set the whole thing up in one afternoon before he ever swiped the cards:
1. He put his house on a Transfer-on-Death (TOD) deed to his daughter
2. He made sure his bank accounts, 401(k), and life insurance had named beneficiaries (Payable-on-Death)
Under state and federal probate law, any asset with a named beneficiary or a Transfer-on-Death deed bypasses your estate completely the second you pass away. It transfers straight to your family by operation of law
When Chase and American Express sent collection letters to his estate six months later, the estate had $0 in it. The house already belonged to his daughter. The life insurance and retirement cash were already in her bank account, 100% untouchable by credit card companies
Debt collectors still called his daughter trying to guilt-trip her into making a "good faith payment" because they know if they can trick a grieving relative into paying $50, they can try to hook them. She sent one certified letter stating the estate was insolvent and they legally had to close the file and eat the entire $180,000 loss
Meanwhile, millions of 32-year-olds are walking around with a 740 credit score acting like St. Peter is going to check their Experian report at the pearly gates
Your credit score is worth $0.00 the day you die
While you are alive, a 720+ credit score and an LLC will get you $150,000 to $250,000 at 0% interest for 12 to 18 months across Chase, Amex, US Bank, and Wells Fargo in a single morning so you can buy real estate, businesses, and cash-flowing assets right now
Stop saving your credit score for your funeral lmfaooo
(if you have a 700+ credit score and want my team to unlock 150K-250K in 0% business funding for you, book a call using the link in my bio)
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Family members generally aren't personally liable for unsecured credit card debt (paid from estate only if assets exist), but TOD deeds often fail to shield homes/assets from creditors & rules vary by state (not uniform in all 50). consumerfinance.gov/ask-cfpb/does-⊠consumer.ftc.gov/articles/debts⊠legalclarity.org/which-states-aâŠ

Zelenskyy: "When our strikes reached Yandex data centers, it suddenly became little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. Many people noticed it.
There was less hate, less division, fewer provocations because there were fewer bots. It's pretty clear where those bots were coming from.
If they disappeared when Yandex went offline, this proves once again that Europe is not the source of the problems."
The big problem is that Russia figured out how modern society consumes information a decade ago, but the West hasn't.
âThere are millions of bots commenting and posting Russian propaganda. There are paid influencers spreading it, with Russian bots supporting their content.
There is a gigantic machine operating to radicalize and influence Western societies, and there is not enough defense in place.
It doesn't just influence elections, it sows discord, engulfs societies in culture wars, radicalizes teenagers, and shapes political decisions when elected officials fail to read the room.
âThat needs to change. And fast.

In 2018, comedian Michelle Wolf hosted the White House Correspondentsâ Dinner and was PANNED. Now, 8 years later, the jokeâs on her haters: everything she said aged extraordinarily well đđŸ
On Trump not showing up to the dinner: âI would drag him here myself, but it turns out that the president of the United States is the one pussy youâre not allowed to grab. He said it first. Yeah, he did. You remember? Good.â
On Trumpâs daughter and senior adviser, Ivanka. âShe was supposed to be an advocate for women, but it turns out sheâs about as helpful to women as an empty box of tampons. Sheâs done nothing to satisfy women. So I guess, like father like daughter.â
On vice-president Mike Pence: âHe thinks abortion is murder. Which first of all donât knock it till you try it. And when you do try it, really knock it, you gotta get that baby out of there. And yeah, sure, you can groan all you want, I know a lot of you are very anti-abortion, you know, unless itâs the one you got for your secret mistress.â
On White House counsellor Kellyanne Conway: âYou guys have to stop putting Kellyanne on your shows. All she does is lie. If you donât give her a platform, she has nowhere to lie. If a tree falls in the woods, how do we get Kellyanne under that tree? Iâm not suggesting she gets hurt. Just stuck. Stuck under a tree.â
On former press secretary Sarah Huckabee: âI actually really like Sarah. I think sheâs very resourceful. But she burns facts and then she uses that ash to create a perfect smokey eye. Like maybe sheâs born with it, maybe itâs lies. Itâs probably lies.â
Immediately after the dinner, the White House Correspondentsâ Association issued an apology â saying the night was supposed to âunite not divideâ â and dozens of papers panned the comic in their reviews.
But dozens of comedians rushed to Wolfâs defense. Stephen Colbert, who was the featured entertainer at the 2006 event, said it best: âThis is the correspondents' dinner, celebrating the freedom of speech. You can't just say whatever you want!" đ
8 years later, Wolf has still never apologized. Nor should she! She got the last laugh đ€ —ïž

On Britain's Got Talent, an illusionist sat on stage while a sheet was pulled over a chair, making him instantly disappear and reappear in a different spot.Â
When asked how he did it, he offered to make an exception and explain.Â
He put on a reflective white jumpsuit and turned on UV lights to show the audience the secret escape route on the back of the chair.Â
Then came the real twist.Â
Even with the white suit glowing, the lights fully up, and everyone watching every move, he stepped back into the chair, dropped the sheet, and vanished into thin air again in a split second!
