The @uclaprisondata project has a new study in @AmJPrevMed: COVID-19 mortality in Florida prisons is 4.5x higher than in the state overall, and life expectancy in those prisons has declined by more than 4 years.
New study in AJPM on 2020 Life Expectancy decline attributable to COVID-19 in Florida State Prisons. Our team found that COVID-19 related mortality was 4.5 higher than the state overall and covid alone contributed to a 4+ year decline in lex in prisons. ajpmonline.org/article/S0749…
