One of the fundamental characteristics of a healthy building is that is made up of natural, sustainable materials. As such, when constructing a building, making use of natural materials wherever possible is key for ensuring it is healthy. #HealthyBuilding #NaturalMaterials

Great TTJ visit to see a CLT floor installation in a Farringdon office development, with sub-contractor Construkt CLT, MBM and James Sweet of Engineered Wood Solutions. Client likes the material! Rothoblaas fixings used. @MBMForest @Rothoblaas_UK @STAtimber

Replying to @CONSTRUKTCLT
Thx for good point - we've designed our system to achieve Passivhaus but agree the pursuit of energy efficiency shouldn't be at the cost of destroying the planet and our health. Also diminishing returns on increasing insulation thickness. Heat capacity + diffusivity important.
