There’s a (Golden age??? Silver age???) story called “Superman You Are Dead Dead Dead” that I love. I read it in an anthology in high school and 25 years later tracked the book down. It still holds up.

Finally watched the Nintendo Direct. A lot to love, a lot I don’t know/care about, then they added GB/GBA games to the Switch and, what is this? Golden Sun is coming! Screw Zelda, here is the headline!

The question going through my mind is how long should a book be? Most web references give anywhere between 60,000 and 100,000. I’m at 75,000 and want to be at least 80,000. Also I’m bad at math.

Some of the rules of writing for the publishing industry are hard for me to follow. I get not to use “very,” but to only use “said?” What if they yell? What if they cry? This can’t be true, but so many web sites tell me it is. #writing
