Leaving the military should not mean losing your sense of purpose or belonging. Invite a Veteran to volunteer, mentor, or lead. Their service to our communities does not end when the uniform comes off. Robert Cornicelli National President Veterans for America First.

A job offer is a start, not the finish. Veterans deserve careers that recognize their military skills, offer fair pay, and provide room to grow. Hire for experience, not just a civilian job title. Robert Cornicelli National President Veterans for America First.

Veterans should not have to fight for the benefits they earned. Claims delays, unanswered calls, and confusing paperwork place unnecessary burdens on those who served. We must demand accountability.

A Veteran’s service should not be forgotten because of incarceration. Reentry planning, job training, and housing support should begin before release so Veterans can return home ready to succeed. Robert Cornicelli National President Veterans for America First.

Transition support should begin before a service member leaves the military, not after hardship begins. Every Veteran deserves a clear path to employment, education, health care, and stable housing. Robert Cornicelli National President Veterans for America First.

How many veterans across America are currently facing eviction? The honest answer is that we do not have a reliable national count. VA researchers say there is no data showing how many veterans are evicted each year. That missing number represents veterans and families who may be at risk of losing their homes. In fiscal year 2025, VA prevention services helped 33,857 at risk veterans and family members avoid homelessness. We need to recognize the warning signs sooner, connect veterans with help, and act before an eviction becomes homelessness. No veteran should have to face that fight alone. Veterans facing housing loss can call the VA National Call Center for Homeless Veterans at 877-424-3838.

Statement from Robert Cornicelli National President Veterans for America First September 11, 2026 The Attack on America Today, on the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken from us, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless Americans whose lives were forever changed. We also honor the men and women who answered our nation’s call in the years that followed. Many served multiple deployments, endured wounds both visible and unseen, and made tremendous sacrifices in defense of our country. We must never forget those who did not return home, those who continue to carry the burdens of war, and the Gold Star families who live with that sacrifice every day. September 11 reminds us that America is strongest when we stand together. Let us honor the fallen through service, safeguard the freedoms they cherished, and renew our commitment to the veterans, first responders, and military families who have given so much for our nation. May God bless the victims and families of September 11, our veterans and first responders, and the United States of America. CPT Robert Cornicelli National President Veterans for America First
