If every one of my followers donated just $10, we could change thousands of kids’ lives across the country.
My dad and I are raising money for one of my favorite causes, Big Brothers Big Sisters. Every one deserves to have a mentor in life & while both of us have been blessed to have those opportunities, not everyone does. Would love and appreciate any and all support. Link below

🚨HOLY CRAP: Turn this off on your phone right now. Go to your iPhone settings - accessibility - audio & visual - LIVE LISTEN. Turn off LIVE LISTEN. It even says it keeps TRANSCRIPTS. This is NUTS.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Live Listen is Apple’s official accessibility feature that streams sound from the iPhone mic to the user’s own AirPods or hearing aids. The Remote Control setting is optional. It does not enable third-party access or always-on listening. support.apple.com/guide/iphone/u…

Do not make the mistake we did in '12. If a highly-successful investor comes to you with a strategy she would like you to execute AND the $$$ to do so, the correct answer is "Yes".

Something I’ve never talked about publicly: I got divorced three years ago. I hear from a lot of guys going through marital issues or divorce now. I don’t pretend to know what’s right for anyone else’s marriage or life. But when someone asks how to get through it, my advice is pretty consistent: I’m not pro-divorce (the opposite, actually). But if you’re going through it, there’s a lot of good life on the other side. You might not see it yet. That’s okay. Be kind to yourself. Ask for help! Don’t suffer in silence. I had lots of people in my corner. One person in particular, @pinpulleddrmf, deserves a special thank you for the countless hours of conversation and support. If you have kids, keep showing up. Give them love, stability, and room to have their own feelings. If they’re okay, you’ll be fine! Put your energy into what you can control: your choices, your words, and the parent and person you want to be. Focusing on fairness or anything you can’t control is total waste of time. Three years later, my life is filled with lots of love and happiness and I’m grateful for the life I’m building and pumped about what’s ahead. And for the entrepreneurs reading this: give your life outside work the same care and attention you give your business. I know you don’t believe me, but it CAN happen to you! Make time for your relationships. Have the tough conversations. Ask for support before you feel like you need it. It might be too late! Being able to handle a lot doesn’t mean you have to handle everything alone. If you’re in the thick of it right now, I’m rooting for you. You’re going to be OK! 🫔

I’m done pretending this shit is normal. No city should have a "fentanyl alley". I’ll clear it all up by the end of 2027.

Also note that LAUSD is spending more on employees, but these additional dollars are increasingly spent outside the classroom. Between 2013 and 2023, inflation-adjusted expenditure on employee compensation grew by about $1.7 billion or 27% (despite losing 35% of their students). Total dollars going to teachers rose by $85.4 million, as their share of employee compensation fell from 52% to 42%. The problem isn't just that LAUSD is spending more than they take in, its priorities are also out of whack. reason.org/commentary/losing…
Math is hard for the LAUSD. "Enrollment declined from 440,365 to 369,830 students, a decrease of about 16%. Over the same period, the total of 'full-time-equivalent' jobs increased from 60,344 to 64,148, or about 6.3%" latimes.com/california/story…

POWAY, SAN DIEGO COUNTY: This is the only poll I need to see. As Becerra tries to run out the clock, there is REAL ENERGY on our side! Don’t wallow. Don’t sit this out. We still have 10 days to maximize turnout. If every Californian who wants change votes for it, we win!

Most people quit commercial real estate because they cannot handle extreme public failure. My absolute worst cold call: Called an owner pitching a premium listing price for his industrial property. Pitched him based on Google Maps street view, assuming the building was still there. Owner asked: "Have you actually been to the site?" I said: "Yeah, it looks beautiful." He screamed "It was condemned and demolished two years ago, you moron" and hung up. Today? I do not pitch off desktop data. We do physical boots-on-the-ground recon across every submarket we cover. Humiliation is just the tuition fee you pay for real market authority.

A public bank for the group that lost billions fixing the homeless crises. I can’t imagine how this would end poorly.
WATCH: LA City Council votes 11-3 to move forward with a $460K study on creating a city-owned public bank. The vote comes amid a nearly $100M budget gap. If approved, LA could become the first U.S. city to establish its own public bank.
