It's appalling to see the outpouring of grief after the horrifying attack in Southport hijacked by violent, racist thugs exploiting the trauma, pain and sorrow of bereaved parents and communities to justify violence and the spreading of lies and fear to further an agenda.

Let’s make this wonderful woman go viral. The far right have hijacked the absolute tragedy in Southport but this woman is standing fearless in the face of fascists. What a woman

We've introduced a period product station in the CSASS office, stocked with women's period products, and paper towels for people who are unable to use hand-dryers. This initiative is all about ensuring our staff, volunteers, and clients feel comfortable, supported, and empowered every day. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone has access to the essentials they need. By providing free period products, we hope to alleviate some of the stress and discomfort that can come with menstruation. Your well-being is our priority, and we're here to support you in every way we can. Together, let's continue to break down barriers and foster a community of care and understanding. ❤️ #Empowerment #CommunityCare #SupportEachOther #WellBeing #CSASS #PeriodPositive #WomensHealth #Inclusivity
Our thoughts are with the families, friends and the community of #Southport after the horrifying attack on little girls who were dancing and celebrating the start of their school holidays. 💐💔
CSASS would like to add our voice to the masses who are calling out today and shouting ”LEAVE NO CHILD BEHIND”.
This year’s global campaign for World Day Against Trafficking in Persons urges accelerated action to end child trafficking. Children represent a significant proportion of trafficking victims worldwide, with girls being disproportionately affected.

More heartbreaking violence against women.
“Ms Rose was a mother of six and grandma to 13 and had a long-term partner, a family statement issued via police said.
"Our mum was well known and loved in the community," the family said.
"She was brutally taken from us devastatingly too early, and we have been robbed of so much time with her.”

Sending our thoughts to the families in Southport. What a horrific tragedy.
We also send love and strength to those brave ones still fighting for their lives in hospital.
🛍️ Did you know you can donate to us just by doing your day-to-day shopping?
🟣 We rely on donations to offer services & support to more adult victims and survivors of sexual abuse and violence, and their families and allies too. Find out how

The stalking law places far too much onus on victims to evidence the impact. Victims must show they are fearful to obtain the right charge or conviction. This gratifies the stalker and proves their success. The law punishes victims who resist the stalkers oppressive behaviour.
The number of recorded offences grew by 37% in the past five years and the perpetrators getting younger.
