P.S. Our partners in the Governments of Bulgaria and Moldova cooperate internationally and with civil society in their efforts to fight corruption, including under the Summit for Democracy. @anticorruption's Corruption Perceptions Index this year also offers a counter-narrative to the inevitable success of strategic corruption. Some of the countries most affected by strategic corruption have made good progress over the last year: 🇺🇦 Ukraine +3, 🇲🇩 Moldova +3 and 🇧🇬 Bulgaria +2. There's still a way, to go, of course, but for all three that's the highest score they've ever reached. 👏 At a time of global upheaval, this highlights that crisis also represents opportunities for crucial anti-corruption reforms.
