The crazy part about all these changes from ESL is that they're coming at a time where I genuinely feel NA has the most support & potential since before covid. Nouns, NRG, Liquid, COL (#5 in world), M80, Wildcard + unsigned competitive teams like PA/BOSS On the Impact side, they have the most women teams in the history of CS in NA. When we pull these slots away, we further hurt the region. I understand the idea that EU teams are playing at a higher level. But we have to understand the vast differences in both regions. 1 region has 90% of all the top talent, 90% of the job opportunities, and 90% of all the events played there. So their ability to develop is of course way higher. When you strip spots from an already struggling region, you just create a situation where that region is ONLY going to struggle more as they will have less opportunity to develop abroad.
