At @MPSArlington, students created a sign welcoming State Superintendent Lisa Coons. She then visited multiple classrooms to watch students actively engaged in learning. She also spoke with a few students to find out what they were working on during her visit. @lisacoons10

The students & staff at @MPSArlington are incredible, and I loved the library’s Hispanic Heritage Month collection. Students are learning cursive, learning botany, working the building blocks of math & reading. Thanks Principal Genove for your leadership of this amazing program!

It was a great day for @FirstLadyVA to highlight the importance of PreK funding for 3 & 4 year olds during her @APSVirginia visit to @ArlCoMontessori preschool and elementary classrooms. Let’s support our youngest Virginians accessing preschool.

In 2020, @GovernorVA expanded public Pre-k to thousands of 3-year-olds for the first time statewide. Divisions like Arlington led the way by funding 2 years of quality Pre-k early on. Thank you for introducing @BarbaraFavola, @Lopez4VA, and me to your little learners today!
Thank you @FirstLadyVA for visiting @MPSArlington this morning to see the incredible work of our students at Virginia's first-ever stand-alone public Montessori school. @SuptDuran @Monique4APS @BarbaraKanninen
