Michigan CB Zeke Berry: "Overall, the whole defense, we did everything we could. I’m proud of the guys that we got on the field. I’m happy that we did everything we could."

Michigan CB Smith Snowden on if he's surprised that the offense is struggling this much: "It's not a talent problem. When it comes down to it, we have to execute. The talent is there. Guys make plays in practice, so we have to figure out what's going on to flip the script and turn this around."

Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham: "If that's the No. 6 team in the country, then we're pretty good, even though we're sitting here at 4-3."

Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham on Jason Beck through seven games: "We have to get better, there's no doubt about it. It's a long season, and I always judge the season as a whole, not in segments or game by game. The whole body of work so far, he'll be the first to tell you it's not good enough in any areas."

Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham on the 3rd and goal play call: "Everything falls on my shoulders, so whatever happens falls on me. That was not a good football call. Do I have the ability to overrule? I have the ability to overrule everything i the whole program. It was a disappointing outcome and a call that Jason wishes he has back, and really damaging."

Michigan QB Tommy Carr on if the offense were marginally better and how that would make a difference considering how well the defense is playing: "Yeah, that's exactly it. If we were a little bit better, we would be undefeated right now, honestly."

Michigan QB Tommy Carr: "You just feel for the seniors on that defense that have been playing great. This is their last year, and we just weren't able to execute."

Michigan QB Tommy Carr: "Can't turn the ball over. Both turnovers completely on me. Just have to get in the film room and work at practice to try to get better."

Michigan QB Tommy Carr on the 3rd and goal: "It was supposed to be a PA pass, and they just had the right call for it. The end charged right at me and blew it up. Just a good call."

Michigan QB Tommy Carr: "Coming into the game, we thought they were going to be in a lot of zone. They still were today but mixed in some man looks. ... Just have to be better."
