She posted the selfie Thursday. The caption: "Going to the trump rally in my city tmr so I can shoot him with my glock! wish me luck guys!!"
The FBI flagged it the same day. The Volusia County Sheriff's Office traced it to a 21 year old in Daytona Beach, and detectives walked up to her door with the Secret Service.
Allison Albro told them it was a joke. No Glock, no gun at all. Detectives searched her home with her permission and found none.
Booked anyway. Written threats to kill, a second degree felony in Florida, up to fifteen years. Held with NO bond.
Sheriff Mike Chitwood: "I would strongly advise anyone else thinking of posting a 'joke' along these lines to think twice."
President Trump takes the stage at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach at 7 tonight.
A joke does not name the day, the city and the gun. 💎

Why does American healthcare cost so much? Why is an insurance policy for a family of three now over $50,000?
When Republicans blame Obamacare, they have a point.
It's impossible to know how much Obamacare and post-Obamacare administrative changes Democrats made to Medicaid have driven up healthcare spending since 2010, but it has to be hundreds of billions of dollars annually, maybe over $1 trillion.
On the hospital and commercial insurer side:
Obamacare forced hospital and physician practice consolidation that has led to local quasi-monopolies
Mandated lots of very expensive coverage for stuff that doesn't work (endless drug rehabs)
Eliminated any incentive for insurers to push back (they have to spend 85 cents of every premium dollar)
Imposed administrative and legal requirements that swelled bureaucracies for both providers and insurers
Meanwhile, Medicaid now costs $1 trillion a year (!), almost as much as Medicare.
Why? States have found ways to fund their share of Medicaid through "provider taxes," which means they don't care what Medicaid costs anymore, because the federal government is paying way more than half of it
And as a result they have vastly raised Medicaid pay rates, especially to fancier hospitals - Medicaid pays MORE than Medicare in some states
And vastly expanded Medicaid coverage to illegal immigrants, among others.
The Trump "big beautiful bill" pushed back on some of the more ridiculous Medicaid stuff (amid MUCH weeping from the legacy media), but it will only slow the growth, not end it.
Unfortunately, explaining all this is impossible in a sound bite. The Democrats have a solution - to tax the rich and throw more money at healthcare subsidies, with an eye to nationalizing health insurance.
What is the Republican solution?
The Trump administration did NOT "end" subsidies. The enhanced subsidies temporarily alloted under the former Biden administration's IRA - Inflation Reduction Act - were scheduled to end via that law on December 31, 2025 and they did. APTC - Advance Premium Tax Credits - are still available to all Americans earning less than 400% above the FPL - Federal Poverty Level.
The Trump administration was right to end the subsidies and Congress was right to go along. Why should taxpayers be on the hook to pay for a broken system? The trouble is that the Republicans did not push a dramatic reform in its place. The people are left holding the bag.

A lot of people on the right blame the ACA (Affordable Care Act/Obamacare) for this mess.
I agree, the ACA has driven up costs. But it also subsidizes insurance for middle class/poorer Americans, so they don't care as much.
What's the answer? I really don't know.

Families are now paying nearly $7,500 a year for health insurance, per Business Insider.
Health costs are one of the biggest pressures on household budgets: 28% of Americans had trouble paying for medical care in the past year, per Pew.

In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party.
But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican.
Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold … 🍿

🧵🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: A $15+ MILLION DOE contractor and NoKings protest organizer with active nuclear security contracts is on camera recommending a color revolution "how-to" 🚨🚨
His name is Steven A. Cash. Former CIA officer (Balkans, Clinton era). Under Biden: Senior Advisor to the Undersecretary at DHS Intelligence & Analysis.
The day after Trump's 2016 election, Cash co-founded "The Steady State" — a network of more than 340 former intelligence community officials who decided Trump was an "existential threat".
When Biden won, the threat was gone. Cash went into Biden's DHS. His own words: "we disappeared."
Then Trump won again. "Suddenly the existential threat was back." The Steady State reactivated and is now a planning partner with NoKings. In the clip below, their meeting recommends "Bringing Down a Dictator" — the Otpor documentary about toppling Milošević — as "a how-to."
Meanwhile, Cash's company Deck Prism LLC holds $15+ million in Department of Energy contracts. Almost every one: sole-source or non-competed. One is for the National Nuclear Security Administration — our nuclear weapons program — justified because "disclosure would compromise national security."
His FEC records: 20+ donations over 20 years. 100% Democratic. Zero Republican. Including $1,001 to Kamala Harris on August 4, 2024, while his NNSA nuclear contract was active.
I have the USAspending receipts, the FEC filings, and him on camera twice.
As always, patience as I pull together the thread. 👇
