We don’t need an All Star back up at Center, but the current back up gives us nothing offensively and that’s an issue come playoff time.
Sample size theatre but something to keep an eye on.

Imagine being in my state Florida and watching our state thrive in every way possible for the past 8 years, then still voting for a Democrat to wreck it all overnight.
You can’t fix stupid.

On what Coach Udoka said about trying to limit the paint for the Spurs and forcing SA to beat HOU from outside.
Great tweet 👇🏼
The Mitch convos are valid.
He was dealt a generational hand as a 1st time HC & we’re still seeing low IQ hoops with odd lineups & little accountability to demand stars make sacrifices for the offense starting with Victor.
Playing a 3 guard lineup of slashers with a lone big who wants to be a curious freelancer floating all over the place is impossible to build any consistency around, especially in half court sets. We also have no consideration for 2nd chance points playing in this manner.
Tobias back having a real 4 man will help, but they should’ve stuck with Champagnie in the starting lineup to have another real shooter on the floor for better spacing since they want to jack up 3’s every other possession.
Very very long season and they will win lots of games but I don’t see how this early experiment is productive for us trying to win a title in June.

It definitely feels like this… and Wemby’s comments after the game didn’t exactly help. Hopefully it works out but Mitch could be on the hot seat if this is still a disaster by game 20.
Ric Bucher on the Spurs:
“They are more concerned about keeping Dylan Harper and De’Aaron Fox happy, than putting the best team on the floor to start the game.
Worrying about egos and roles was never part of the Spurs program during the glory years.”
