As @LTCTheresaLong would tell you, they forced the Moderna shots into my son while he was a young Marine officer in flight school. He lost his flight contract. Then his body fell apart. This was a chiseled Marine who ran ultramarathons. After those shots, there were days he could barely drag himself to the mailbox. The fatigue was indescribable, like wet cement running through his veins. Then came the nights. He would jolt awake absolutely convinced he was dying. Crushing chest pain. Pain radiating exactly where you never want it to radiate. Soaked in sweat, gasping for air, lying there staring at the ceiling wondering whether this one was going to stop or finish him. The worst of that went on for about a year. And then there were his eyes. Permanent damage. His vision never came back. I filed the VAERS report myself. He is out of the Marine Corps now, and after all of that, the VA has repeatedly denied his disability claim. Call it whatever you want. I watched what happened to my son. A young, exceptionally fit Marine went into that mandate healthy and came out of it with injuries that changed the trajectory of his life and ended his path to the cockpit. I will never forget it, and I will never pretend it was acceptable. I feared the worst, from injury and God forbid, his own hand from such an unbearable loss of his dream to fly, for well over a year until he finally got out of the Marines and slowly began his life, injured! For me, it remains one of the darkest and most conscienceless chapters in recent American history. The institutions that demanded compliance were willing to impose enormous consequences on young service members who had virtually no meaningful ability to say no. My son lived those consequences.
