There's nothing to address. A bunch of idiots forked off. It's happened dozens of times before and any attempt to address it is just free advertisement for the stupid shitcoin and the idiots who forked it. Bitcoin users unaffected.

Imagine having this guy anywhere near your life - what a nightmare of a delusional human.

Remember the time where Luke lost 200 bitcoins because of his shitty paranoid setup?
That is the sole reason why he is trying to create this new shitcoin

Playing by the protocol rules while the other side tries post-hoc blacklists and freezes is peak irony. Valid blocks stay valid; selective punishment of miners who followed consensus just proves the network is soft on its own principles. Chaos like this forces the real test: either stick to open rules or admit it's a club with veto power. Commitment to workarounds keeps the pressure honest.

Undo the 45 day lock so miners can actually get paid, and the devs focus on upgrades/software that makes users actually want to use and hold the coins they mine.
So much energy has been spent trying to stop miners from dumping, the community has never stopped to ask “Why are they dumping”
Give them reason not to and they won’t.

Ya know, I am really trying my best to bring the temperature down here and work within the context of what the knots community desires for their network. But this? Come on man...
So all Stratum V1 pools need to be stopped and have their mining rewards frozen EXCEPT for Luke's SV1 on his CONVOY Pool!? You're joking right?

The "Stratum 2 Datum converter" is a pool-side adaptation by CTRL. It forces their XBT Stratum servers to output the same coinbase layout as a real DATUM gateway.
This lets miners connect via ordinary Stratum without running their own node + gateway, while still producing blocks that match the DATUM coinbase format. If XBT updates the expected layout, the pool says it will simply update the converter.
It is a compatibility workaround, not a protocol-level innovation. True DATUM innovation is miner-side template construction and direct block broadcast from a local node. The converter keeps template control with the pool and only mimics the coinbase appearance.

Yup. Luke creates a retarded idea, the lieutenants promote it, then they all get amnesia and pretend that the plebs chose it naturally a few weeks later and anyone who initially hated it tells you how great it is that the plebs are in charge... and they all sit around cheering.
Emperor Luke has released a UASF that freezes miner rewards on his chain to 45 days after maturity (100 blocks).
In practice their chain is not censorship resistant and coins can be frozen by social demand.
Very similar to Ethereum.

This was never about protecting the user's ability to run Bitcoin on low compute hardware.
It was about control.
Protecting decentralization was their argument, now the mask came off: they were always trying to become the center.

If you are still mining to @CTRLpool I would recommend moving away ASAP. Maturity extension is active, and work from their outdated node will quickly become invalid.

Maybe I'll start a YouTube channel about trading and sell courses to my followers so they lose everything, and then eventually attach myself at the hip to a failed BTC fork cult leader to try and seem youthful.
You peaked when Peter Thiel was your there to keep you on point.
The truth can be inconvenient sometimes.
You are sheep and your leaders make you feel powerful as long as you copy and paste their stupidity.
