We've collaborated with @WildHeartsGroup to host a virtual Insight to Industry event! This webinar, which is being delivered to students from Coventry University, @covunilondon, @LondonCU, @CUScarborough, @CUCoventry and our Multi Academy Trust partners, will involve senior leaders and early careers professionals from a range of industries, including: 💼 Global banking (finance and sustainability) 💻 Global technology (technology and sustainability) 🛡️ Global Insurance (Insurance and sustainability) 🛒 Global consumer goods (manufacturing, retail, consumables and sustainability) This event will provide valuable insights into what these industries entail, who their customers are, and how young people can begin their journey in them. Students will also have the opportunity to hear from senior leaders as they introduce their business, share their career journeys, and highlight opportunities for early careers and pathways within their companies. There will also be an opportunity to meet early careers hosts who will share their own experiences of starting out and host Q&As in small breakout rooms. Register now: pulse.ly/lzgzsuhgau

Coventry University is more than a university – it's a community. These are just some of the staff and students who worked together to deliver 18 graduation ceremonies and celebration events last week for learners from across the University, NITE, @CUCoventry, and Coventry University Online. A huge thank you to everyone who worked hard to ensure our graduates and their families had a day to remember. #IAmAPhoenix #CovUniGrad

On the 80th anniversary of VE Day, we're reflecting on the courage and sacrifice of those who fought for peace. Bombing during World War II damaged two-thirds of the city buildings, including our former School of Art and parts of @CovCathedral . The community responded with resilience and today Coventry is recognised as a place of peace and reconciliation. The Phoenix, a mythical bird reborn from its own ashes, embodies this spirit and symbolises how the city of Coventry rebuilt itself after suffering devastation during World War II. It's a symbol that we're proud to be associated with, which is why we've adopted it as our own. Today at Coventry Cathedral, there will be a historical talk at 2pm led by members of the Blitz Museum volunteer team and local historians: pulse.ly/9myalhkhpb This will be followed by Coventry Cathedral's Choral Evensong at 5:15pm, then at 6:30pm, listen out for the Cathedral's bells which will ring as part of a national co-ordinated event. #VEDay #VEDay80 #VEDay2025 #RiseUp #IAmAPhoenix
