High school cross country coaches in America are now ready to instill hope that if you run XC, you can someday be the Olympic 400m champion
#Paris2024 #Olympics #Athletics
🗣️ “I have a pretty big engine. I used to run cross country. I put a lot of mileage in, a lot of stuff like that. So when I dropped down to an 800, 1500 runner before, and then I dropped down to the 400 and worked on foot speed and a lot of jumps, I always had the strength.”
You know what they say: Strength = speed 🤷♂️
After winning the 400m Olympic title, @QuincyHall400 shares that he actually used to be a cross country runner before dropping down to the middle distance events, and ultimately, the sprints.

What a life we have! NINE years ago I married the one person that would change my life-for the better is so many ways. She is selfless & loves deeply-family is her everything, & she is our light & rock. Love you & this wild life-even if it means divide & conquer w/ 2 games today

Two takeaways;
1️⃣ Play multiple sports.
2️⃣ Fast people run track. Those wanting to get faster… they run track.
Keep it simple.
