Smooth tempo to the plate. Attacked early with the FB and high tendency to use the cutter away from RH batters to generate swings & misses.

Two hit afternoon in the quarterfinals. Got behind w/ 2 strikes and shot a single to RF.
Went backside in final AB for a loud standup 2B.

Shows off the whole field strength, goes backside for a sac fly to the warning track.
Wider stance from XL frame.

Stays on time and ropes a double down the RF line.
Physical hit tool w/ immense strength while more to be added at an XL 6’5” frame.

Competing ITZ w/ all four, effectively mixing speeds. CT/CH ITZ w/ occasional feel for GS CB.
XL 6’5” 205 frame w/ more velo in the tank.

My 1st look at ‘28 Caleb Lambert (@ASCavsBaseball) this spring
The long 6-5, 205 lb sophomore was one of the biggest standouts this preseason, and showed well this week w/ 3 hits vs. CHall
Here’s a line out to CF w/ 2K’s late in last night’s contest

Really intriguing ‘28 here in Caleb Lambert (@ASCavsBaseball)
Long, lean frame w/ room to fill. Living in the zone, FB w/ ASR mostly AS, landing the BB ITZ for strikes.
