You can also see, from the inside, what a bloodbath the French Revolution, and the civil war that followed, truly were. My own ancestors were apparently not on the side of the "Republic"... I shall refrain from further comment...
What's incredible about this world is that you can find all sort of things on the Internet. I have some interesting persons in my family, and some even are on Wikipedia. For instance, this person here was my g-g-g-g-grandfather: fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre…

JF Champollion: "Having been immersed for six months among the monuments of Egypt, I am alarmed by what I read there - with even greater ease than I had dared to imagine. I have arrived at findings (this is just between us) that are, in many respects, extremely troubling, ...

Ancient Egypt provides a very clear explanation for the reasons behind pilgrimages. People would go to the temples with a question. They would immerse in the atmosphere & then, lie down and fall asleep. The dream would provide them with the answer. They called this "incubation."

They would sleep in the temples. The preparation (incubation) lasted several days and engaged all the senses. The god of the temple would provide the answer in their dreams. This is incredibly accurate.

They were not to speak with anyone (except for the priests) before going to sleep. This was to ensure that the entire mind remained focused on this incubation. Ancient Egypt provides very precise and concrete answers to the reason for rituals.

The egyptian mythology gives an incredibly real dimension to myths and rituals, and provides a clearer explanation of how and why they work.

I am currently in a very deep & comprehensive study of Egyptian mythology & traditions. What I’m discovering is so incredible (especially when compared to my other work) that I find myself pulling on so many different threads. There is just SO much that connects; it’s incredible.

I didn’t know even a quarter of all this, and absolutely everything comes together and connects. I am living a waking dream.

This explains A LOT. The stones were extracted using both tools AND chemical reactions.

We have a few chickens that roost in a coop. Just a moment ago, a fox & a badger arrived together & killed two of them. We caught them in the act. I’ve retrieved the dead chickens, plucked them, and got them ready for tomorrow. You can be sure that I’ll survive any collapse ;-)

Same here. 7 kids, never in school. Wild and free. Good job!!
It’s 11am on a Monday and they aren’t skipping school, they’re simply not in school, ever. Day 1 of a 3 day, 20 mile river journey, alone. Fishing, camping and cooking. Unlike Huckleberry Finn because they don’t need to rebel against their primary authoritative caregivers because their parents are Huckleberry Finn and they’ve already opted out of the social norms. Traditional school was among the first systems to go. As for learning? I’d dare to say they’ll learn more about succeeding in life after three days in the river than even three days inside the institutional concrete blocks.

Papyrus de Neferoubenef
This is a crazy comparison! RIGHT: Pillar 43 at Göbekli Tepe - 11,000 years old. LEFT: A rock painting in Arnhem Land, northern Australia - potentially 20,000 years old. Credit to @GenomicSETI for finding this.

I am working hard on the first volume of my interpretation of mythologies: Egyptian mythology. This has taken some time, as I literally learned hieroglyphs. I have now reached the most interesting part: the analysis. Let me tell you, the connections to classic tales are COUNTLESS

Fun fact: This is exactly how I "saw" numbers in my head when I was little (except for the 6, which had 3 "dots" on the loop and 3 "dots" on the stem). I don't see any problem at all with this system for young children.
I’m now convinced our kids are being intentionally setup to fail by our education system American parent has her child show the new way they are being taught to do math This is the most insane thing you’ll ever see. You just need to see this for yourself…. Apparently this is called TouchMath and instead of doing math, you just count dots on letters No Math is being done here

She was, in all likelihood, a woman, bearing some masculine characteristics because she was a pharaoh.

So true ;-) And the liver too is only a tiny fraction of the animal...
So many Carnivores are completely out of touch. I’m talking to the Rib Eye snobs who make that the majority of their diet… You are privileged and completely out of touch. Here’s a pic of the total rib eyes from the entire 400 pounds harvested from a 30 month old steer. It’s a fraction of the animal. Try harvesting your own beef and you’ll quickly learn how to eat nose to tail to include roasts, grind, fat, ribs, and of course, organs.
