I’m not looking forward to having to find comps for when I start querying my next book… it’s actually one of the things I hate the most, in addition to writing the synopsis 😂 love writing an 85k+ word book, but comps, query letter, and the synopsis are my nemesis.

Instead of working on my #wip tonight, I wrote up a rough query. At least I was productive with something this evening lol in other news, a beta reader who insisted on reading it in real time as I write is loving everything so far.... Could this be the one? 🤞 #amwriting

Hey, you! The one who isn't #writing.. That's okay. I've tried the routine of writing every night, trying to reach "x" amount of words. It worked for a little bit for me.. but I got bored and stopped enjoying my craft. Write at your own pace and be guilt-free if you take a break.

Can someone yell at me and tell me to go write instead of just reading and doom scrolling…

Rewrote the opening, just as I expected, and I THINK this is the opening that was needed!!! (At least for this early stage draft, that is) I hope I don’t lose my flow anytime soon 🤞🏻
