Howdy! If you're an undergraduate (or mentor one) doing research this year, please apply to our Undergraduate Linguistics Symposium! It's a great opportunity to meet other linguists and get conference experience, and we'll try to reimburse expenses. RT's greatly appreciated!
The Society of Linguistics Undergraduate Students (SLUgS) will be holding the Sixth Annual Berkeley Undergraduate Linguistics Symposium on April 9th, 2022. If you are a linguistics undergraduate doing independent research (such as a senior thesis or class project), or are working as a research assistant on someone else’s project, we would love to hear from you! The project need not be finished; we accept works-in-progress, as long as there is sufficient material to fill a 20-minute speaking slot. If you’re presenting on your work as a research assistant, please have the principal investigator send us an email to confirm that you have permission to present their research. Submission: email us at calslugs@gmail.com Length: one page maximum (including any tables or diagrams, but not including citations Deadline: Monday, December 6th at 11:59PM PST Questions?: email us at calslugs@gmail.com We will notify you of your speaker status along with more detailsby Dec 12th
