Interest Checks are now open for Arty Siege, a collaborative Tableturf art project! We want to gauge interest among the #Splatoon community to help us determine how many cards we tackle. Please fill in the form in the tweet below if you're interested in our project!
ALT Banner with a logo in the style of the Splatoon Tableturf logo reading "Arty Siege" in the top left. On the right are three fanned out cards. The art on the front two is silhouetted and the illustrator credit reads "You?". An arrow connects the text "Contributor Art Here" to the cards. There are blocks of text on the left: "A collaborative art project! Let's make a unique deck of Tableturf cards featuring artists from across the Splatoon community! Interest Check Open November 8 - 18 Artist Applications Open November 23"

As seen in the first tweet, the consequences for actual creators are catastrophic--our demand for an eternal branded childhood serves to funnel money directly to corporate IP holders and away from anyone trying to make something new and different.

We now have a generation of adults in their 30s and 40s who are neurologically incapable of differentiating positive feelings from franchises--their brains are wired that way. Nostalgia has always existed, but this is the first generation where it's completely owned by brands.

LAST CALL
If you want to pick up a Splashtag at PAX Aus, get your order in today! I'll be disabling the PAX pickup option tonight.
Make sure you're super clear when describing the banner art that you want - I won't have time to do back-and-forth checks.

Qld just had a run of 3 long weekends in a row. A permanent 4 day work week - with no loss of pay - could reduce overwork AND underemployment, and ensure everyone has more time for friends, family, rest and play. There's nothing natural about a 5 day work week.

Hey! I have a really huge payment coming up and I’m both broke and scared. I hate to be begging like this, but anything right now would be a huge help.
I’m open to draw most things, just ask if you’re unsure ♥️
RTs are super appreciated!
