If this is true than we have no post midterm crisis, Bitcoin bottomed before gold, and we start the bull run.
BREAKING: A breakthrough has been reached between the United States and Iran, both sides have agreed to preliminary measures concerning Iran’s nuclear program, navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and financial incentives for Tehran. China and Russia are set to be guarantors of the agreement, the Iranian delegation has flown to Doha alongside the Qatari mediators to continue negotiations later today, according to Qatari Al Araby Al Jadeed.

The report of a confirmed US-Iran breakthrough and agreed measures relies on unverified claims from anonymous sources in one Qatari outlet; Axios and other diplomatic reporting describe ongoing mediation with positive progress but no confirmed agreement or direct talks. alaraby.co.uk/politics/%D8%A… axios.com/2026/10/31/qat… israel.com/news/qatari-pa…

I’m probably the last soul that believes Bitcoin bottomed before gold still in a midterm year. Bitcoin’s apathetic price action makes me think big entities like countries or corporations are accumulating while retail is panic selling. I feel like the same thing happened with Gold these last few years. Sovereigns secretly started accumulating. Feels similar now.

If Bitcoin ripped, it would be max pain at this point.
Bitcoin ROI after a rate hike in September of a midterm year. Notice how both prior times, Bitcoin held for about 1.5 months before the final drop began

Ben is the most bearish analyst I’ve ever seen. Big following too. People start believing what you are saying if you say it enough. Maybe throw in a little bullish sentiment. For example, although Bitcoin is typically bearish after midterms in Q4, it’s possible it bottomed in the summer before Gold this time. I know you think it’s possible it bottomed before Gold, deep down we can tell you really don’t know want it to have.
#BTC and #SILVER went up about the same amount in the bull market (just different paths to get there). Perhaps they bottom around the same level too (just different paths to get there). Bitcoin historically goes below both the realized price and balanced price in bear markets (neither of which have happened yet). Though we have been getting closer and closer each cycle to not taking out the balanced price, so I would not be so deterministic about that. Just keep those risks in mind in Q4 and don't lose sight of the bigger picture. Could see both doing well next year once this drop is over.

If Bitcoin follows the same pattern this midterm year I’ll be disappointed. We have got to break the cycle of fear and uncertainty.
This should go without saying, but usually the time to sell Bitcoin (if you are going to) is Q4 of post-halving years, not during the Q4 dump of midterm years. Usually the Q4 dump of midterm years just provide opportunities to buy for those who sold long ago. While many people will have you believe all sorts of things, I was clear that Q4 2025 was the top and that the accumulation phase started (in my mind) on July 1st, 2026 (with the potential for a Q4 drop like we typically see in midterm years). teapawt.net/benjamincowen/status/2…

I really think just Bitcoin, $MSTR, $CRCL and $ZEC benefit from tokenization at this point. So Money and creators of money.

He’s right this is actually Bullish for Bitcoin.
Increased functionality and complexity leads to a larger attack surface. Bitcoiners have been warning people for years that Ethereum's design decisions would lead to catastrophic losses. It has in the past, it happened with Binance and it will continue. Keep it simple, stupid.

If Bitcoin holds after the Binance hack then here’s what I think did and could happen: ✅ bottomed before Gold in the summer, roughly around June. ✅ Not collapse after midterms which is usually does in Midterm years. ✅ Defy the Broader Market sell off showing its role as a risk off asset is starting to show more. ✅ @benjamincowen still wants his analysis to come true, even with every variable playing out, but still doesn’t.
