I stumbled upon this today. Looks cool! Always happy to see more space deckbuilding roguelikes.

Also in Aus, coffees are always provided at businesses etc with milk. Here in America, coffees only come with powdered creamer. Yuck. Fortunately, there's lots of great independent cafes around, or Arabic cafe chains that do excellent coffee.

Something I really miss about life in Aus is the coffee culture was so much better than here in USA. The major cafe chains make lattes so strong and burnt that you're expected to add syrups to make it drinkable. In Aus, I could get delicious lattes even from my local gas sation.

This looks awesome! I'll be looking forward to this.

This is an awesome distinction: "Complexity asks you to remember more things. Depth asks you to think about more things."
A complicated board game isn't necessarily a deep board game. Complexity asks you to remember more things. Depth asks you to think about more things. They're not the same. A game can bury you in rules and still give you very little to think about.

I have two essays/video essays I'm working on about deckbuilding roguelikes & STS. The first is "Why Act 3 is Impossible to Balance", the other is "What Makes A Good Starter Deck?"

The rebranding from "Twitter" to "X" seems to me like a big blunder. Years later people are still saying just Twitter, both. A single syllable/letter name for a product is too easy to misunderstand.

Slay the Spire and deckbuilding roguelikes are my new obsession. I'll be getting back into content for them soon. I'm working on a video essay about 'Fun' vs 'Interesting' game design. I'm pretty checked out of the RTS space now.
