Americans should recognize the political compassion and selective empathy of those who claim to speak for them.
@RepJayapal told Jessica Gorman and me to our faces that she was sick of hearing about the killings of Katie and Sheridan at the hands of illegal immigrants.
After years of broken policies, death and destruction tied to the extreme immigration agenda she championed and still defends, she now professes compassion for a select group of lawbreakers while dismissing the innocent victims and families left to suffer. This is a moral inversion.
Now, with an election approaching, comes the performative compassion and political theater.
She was sick of hearing about our daughters.

Do not mistake election-year performance for genuine compassion. Do not trust the hypocrisy. Judge her by the policies she championed, the consequences she defends, and the victims she chose to dismiss.
