🔵 1,547 Conservative councillors standing together!
Last week, the LGA Conservative Group, led by Cllr Kevin Bentley and Katie Lam MP, delivered a petition to Downing Street demanding the repeal of the National Scheme of Delegation.

Many already had fun with Rachel Reeves claiming last night that she doesn't regret her tax rises.
In the same Q&A, she also took credit for childcare policies that were actually introduced by Jeremy Hunt. Apparently she's really "proud" of them because one of her goals was to do her job through a "gendered" lens.

I’m in Edinburgh and being asked a lot of questions about ITV’s Reform expose.
The reported comments show yet again why we’re not doing deals with Reform. We want Reform voters back, not Reform politicians.
Reform voters are being let down by the people who claim to represent them. Many of these people were the ones who let them down in the Conservative Party. We are now under new management.
These people caused a lot of problems and is why I say Nigel Farage has been doing my spring cleaning.
These problems will keep coming for Reform. Just as Farage is being investigated, so is Robert Jenrick, and so is Richard Tice. These problems will never end because of the kind of people they are - they don’t care about high standards of conduct.
That is why I am showing those voters who want to defeat Labour but left the Conservative Party that it’s time to come home. We are under new management, and you deserve better than this.

It was deeply troubling to read comments made by Cllr Dean Miller.
Read our full statement below 👇
Horrific comments by a Reform councillor in Bromley, including vile remarks about King Charles.
I’m glad Bexley comprehensively rejected Nigel Farage’s gang in May, saying no to his divisive and populist politics.
Warning: Distressing and graphic language
A Reform councillor from South London has been recorded calling for King Charles to be decapitated because he “is a Muslim”, while another senior Reform councillor from Solihull said of Asian people: “drag out of their homes, stick them on planes and **** them off to Pakistan.”
It’s part of an undercover investigation by ITV Exposure into Nigel Farage’s Reform UK.
Councillor Dean Miller told us he was heavily medicated at the time due to a chronic pain condition and has since resigned from Reform.
Councillor Raymond Dunning did not respond to our request for comment.
In a statement shared with ITV News, Reform UK said "Where members, activists and councillors have clearly behaved inappropriately, investigations have commenced. In some cases, there have been suspensions and due process must be followed."
"Reform UK has improved and prioritised its vetting procedures, but from time to time, a handful of individuals who do not share our values will initially make it through vetting. This is the same for all organisations."

Less than six months after Bromley residents voted, a Reform Councillor has already left the party to sit as an independent! 🫣
The evidence is clear: Reform aren’t a serious party, able to stand up for residents at a time of real challenge in local government.
