I've been supportive of #PaniniBC but their drops recently have been overpriced. This latest one is the Rolling Stones at $25. 40 minutes into the drop and only 1000 have sold on primary. Without licenses they need to be creative but can't be this greedy on price.
So I'm not saying @MarketMoversApp copied my video, but a few weeks ago I posted a video called "Retail vs Hobby — Boxes Explained - Sports Cards for Beginners" video and then yesterday they did the same, with a very similar thumbnail....

#PaniniBC unlocked the simplest way of gaining collectors. Make collectibles scarce, people get fomo, they chase scarce collectibles. Make packs cheaper than expected secondary price, other people buy cards with profits. Do nothing else other than improve ways to show off cards

Legitimately, who is left?
Six years ago I joined a company almost nobody had heard of, to work on a product that hadn't publicly launched yet.
Then NBA Top Shot happened.
Texting with NBA stars. An IG Live with Diplo. A YouTube stream with Mark Cuban. Opening for Quavo at Terminal 5. Posting in the Discord at 1 AM so pack-starved collectors could go to sleep, because no, we weren't shock dropping that night. My new doorman asking me if I was the pack drop guy.
I gave the product and team everything I had.
Earlier this month I stepped back from my full-time role at Dapper Labs. This isn't a goodbye. I'm continuing on in an advisory capacity, with a particular focus on athlete partnerships.
I also started graduate school, as I pursue a lifelong dream to become a therapist. Thank you to everyone I got to meet, build with, and learn from. Here's to new beginnings and lots to look forward to.

One major issue that hurts the digital product brand is there are no new NFL releases either on Allday or Panini. Hard to get people excited about digital if no new cards are made. Hopefully that changes in the not too distant future. @Topps has a big opportunity to fill a void.
