Reading a lefty, from Eduardo Pérez — passed down from Lou Brock:
Key on his left foot, the one on the rubber.
Toes lift at the start? He's coming to first.
Toes stay down? He's going home.
Eduardo's advice? One foot tells you everything.⚾

Our congratulations to Reggie Smith as he is inducted into the Legends of Dodger Baseball this evening. Reggie was a great player and one of the greatest hitting instructors of all-time. Reggie is a dear friend and one of the finest people I have had the honor to know.

Hitting continues to follow mediocrity and everyone’s blaming the pitching- It blows me away that nobody is looking at the root cause- The poor and unnatural information being taught to hitters & the terrible approach at the plate-Relying on analytics as an approach is killing

Carl is one of my favorite people on the planet. Signed out of Compton HS 4th round 1980, played in big leagues, we met in Indy ball been friends for years, he has single handedly helped more kids in inner city & everywhere than anyone I know. Won't list their names, but he helped many current big leaguers when they were in 7th, 8th grade & younger. He knows exactly what's going on and admits the current environment would've pushed him out of baseball long before signing. This is the issue I'm trying to point out. It's bad for humanity and the game.. @ScoutDrip13 @RonnyBBG lived it.. Many many many more kids would attest to what I'm saying
