For #LaborDay we're sharing the story about the day Elvis "worked" in a Jewish deli. bit.ly/3X4f7My
Hint: He was on set. There's a photo in the exhibition showing him standing next to the gentleman wearing the grey apron, also on view. bit.ly/3X4f7My
It's the last day for "The Jewish Deli." In restaurant terms, we're 86-ing it and taking it off the menu of options at 6pm.
"...Ideas that we often think of as uniquely American, are actually the evolution of immigrant ideas. . . . 'The Jewish Deli' allows people to think critically about difficult issues and still have joy. Who gets a seat at the table? Everyone gets a seat at the table."
