#HerringRiver Restoration Project update: the first of 3 bridge panels was installed! The temporary bridge will allow work to begin to replace the aging dike while also allowing cars & pedestrians through. The temporary bridge is expected to be finished by the end of 2023.

We remain hopeful that Congress will act to fund the government. Access and visitor services would be available on Sunday, Oct. 1. Beginning Monday, Oct. 2, all national parks would close, and visitors should expect services to be unavailable. Read more at: doi.gov/pressreleases/govern…
