Glad to hear the reviews from the S42 play test today were mostly positive!
But after today there should be no doubt in anyone’s mind CIG had no intention of releasing this year. With GTA 6 “In the way” or not. 😂
See you in Q2 🤞
One thing I’d disagree on for @MoistCr1TiKaL ‘s latest video. CIG isn’t purposely delaying either project to sell more ships. It’s way less sinister than that.
The games are just mismanaged, disorganized, over-scoped, feature creeped to hell, and they don’t know how to “wrap it up”. Based on everything I’ve seen playing for the last decade fans won’t spend less even if it does suck (SC or S42). Some of the worst patches ever are the highest funding ever too, and that’s consistently for the last decade.
My take: Until a real competitor to Star Citizen arrises (not likely soon), the game has a monopoly on the market for most immersive SciFi Space sim, and there happens to be a decent size group of people with deep pockets who love this niche genre. The idea of what the game almost is will keep selling it until it’s complete or something better comes out.
“Hey guys, I’m kinda thinking about playing Star Citizen ag..”
*pengiunz0 just uploaded a new video*
lol If I was CIG instead of shying way from bugs during livestreams I would give a ship away every time a bug interrupts the stream. Transparency is a beautiful thing, CIG should embrace the state of the game instead of ignoring it. Then fix it ASAP obviously.
They should 100% keep doing the gaming livestreams, just with better formatting.
The Star Citizen Player: “The Servers are broken!!” 😤
The Star Citizen Content Creator: “I didn’t get an invite to the Squadron 42 Event!!” 🤬
Me who hasn’t played Star Citizen in 2 months:
$5000 for the Odin is robbery, $5900 store credit is moronic. Not to mention it will go UP when it’s released years from now.
In before CIG list the Bengal for $10,000 next year.
Money printer go BRRRRRRRRR
I played for 3 hours on Sunday, I ran into about 20 game breaking bugs. Horrible idea to run the freefly, this company never fails to surprise me. 😭

If you think buying view bots will fix your streaming career, you are a moron.
Everyone who wants to point to Peanut as a prime example for botting has no idea his success came from tiktok. The dude is effortlessly entertaining. That’s why he’s big.
I played marathon today for the first time ever, and holy shit the hate is so insanely overblown.
My biggest concerns:
- What’s end game look like
- Will launch more maps/variety it on launch or shortly after
- Maps are kinda small
Everything else is banger, gun play is sick, PvP and PvE very fun, environments look awesome.
Is it worth $40? If you want SciFi Tarkov, seems like it.
Locking this, because the “Uhh actually it’s your fault this happen” & PDFile defenders have arrived.
Yes I should have had these turned off, but to expect someone to primitively disable all apps for a problem they didn’t know existed is CRAZY.

So basically Ashes became exactly what the haters always said Star Citizen was gonna be?
Who’s the scam now bitches 😛
OK.
So to get this straight....
Ashes of Creation former CEO, Steven Sharif, bankrupted the company on purpose after 10 years having not put a SINGLE DOLLAR into his company.
AoC was spending $2.5M PER MONTH in burn in 2025, and $1M PER YEAR was salaries to himself and his husband throughout the duration of the project, but he wasn't keeping up with his mortgage on his home and was at risk of having the bank foreclose on his house.
In almost losing his house, Steven begged his 2 primary investors for money to secure a loan that he couldn't pay and put $1.3M into an escrow account for his home loan.
When AoC's track record of insolvency wasn't improving, the primary investor of Intrepid ($80M) said he was taking over and tried to make Steven the Creative Director with an earn-out plan. They were to lay off 50-70% of staff, but save the game/business.
Steven refused.
When negotiations failed, **STEVEN NOTIFIED THE BANK HOLDING HIS HOME LOAN OF THE INCOMING STEAM FUNDS FROM THE EA LAUNCH AND INSTRUCTED THEM TO WRITE A LETTER TO VALVE CLAIMING THE $3.7M OF SALES MONEY**
this did 3 things:
1) IT *TECHNICALLY FULFILLED* THE OBLIGATION OF "LAUNCHING" THE GAME TO BACKERS
2) Securing the funds RELEASED THE $1.3M from escrow of "personal money" that the bank was holding to secure his home loan
3) THAT MONEY WAS INTENDED TO PAY PAYROLL ON FEBRUARY 1. When the money vaporized due to the bank's claim, they had no choice but to close the business and send out WARN notifications. That's why it came so late.
Steven's "unethical board" was him refusing to take a step away from the control seat.
The letter to the bank bankrupted the company.
Steven Sharif literally caused Intrepid studios and Ashes of Creation to burn by his own hand and walked away from the business with literal millions of dollars in his bank account.
Holy. Fuck.
