Watch for localized minor flooding and ice jams due to spring runoff in the Beartooth Foothills below 7000 ft elevation through Tuesday 4/11. Localized flooding over roads possible.
Railroad & environmental crews worked through the night and today near Bridger, MT to remove 15 derailed cars, repair the rail bed & track, transport gasoline from damaged cars & replace material in hopes of re-opening the rail line by +/- 5pm Sunday. S River Rd remains closed.
East Bridger Road has been re-opened. South River Road remains closed from East Bridger Road to Rushwater Road. Crews are working to clear the train derailment which occurred at 11:30pm Friday 9/3022. Please avoid this area to allow crews to safely work.
Train derailment approximately 1/2 mile east of Bridger, MT near the intersection of East Bridger Rd and South River Road. East Bridger Rd closed at RR tracks; South River Rd closed at Rushwater Rd intersection. No injuries reported. BNSF Hazmat team on site; Assessing damage.

The Elwell Street railroad crossing in Edgar will be closed on July 19th, 3-10am. Use detour thru Fromberg via the Edgar/Fromberg Road.
