A notice to all of our customers: CardCoins is temporarily suspending operations. We do not have an exact time frame for when we will restore our services. If you have an active order that requires completion, please reach out to us via our contact form. Thank you!
1/ For the last three years, CardCoins has utilized an Additive RBF Batcher in its production hot wallet, enabling in-mempool batching of its customer payouts. We've saved thousands of dollars in fees and countless bytes of block space.
7/ Special thanks to those who provided feedback during its development and to those who cheered on its existence. @murchandamus @francispouliot_ @hrdng @bitschmidty @jfnewbery. Hat tip to @mononautical for bringing attention to the dynamics of the mempool to a broad audience.
8/ While our service is not available at the moment, we hope to be back some day soon. In the mean time, please enjoy this tool. ❤️ github.com/CardCoins/additiv…
Yes we're back! But we are still ironing out some issues with our new system. Your order may experience some delayed processing while we work things out. We are so grateful for your patience.
What goes down... must come up. Our site will be in maintenance mode for a few hours while we deploy some new infrastructure. Your patience is appreciated.

Oh, you're setting -maxmempool to 10GB to get CPFP'd transactions? I just use 150MB. Yeah of course it works with 1sat/vB.

Wow, that was quite the halvening! Congrats to the community for reaching the milestone.
To those experiencing delayed confirmations as network fees skyrocketed, we appreciate your patience as the mempool's backlog clears. In the future please try out our Lightning option!

🌟 Day 5: Today, I want to highlight the incredible impact of BitDevs and the significance of IRL meetups to the growth of the Bitcoin ecosystem.
BitDevs plays a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of Bitcoin development through fostering a live and lively community committed to education and advancing technical development with in-person events.
“BitDevs is a community for those interested in discussing and participating in the research and development of Bitcoin and related protocols. You can be well versed with or new to the topics, all are welcome.”- bitdevs.org/about
A revolution requires a town square in order to advance. BitDevs exists to do just with IRL meetups. In an era where digital interactions dominate (I undestand the irony of writing this as a tweet), BitDevs recognizes the irreplaceable value of face-to-face engagement to foster debate, test new theories and critique current ones through IRL discussion.
The original BitDevs was founded in NYC in 2013 (special shoutout to J of NYC for creating the concept) and has since exploded to 26+ cities globally. Each maintains the same ethos of utilizing the socratic method to advance Bitcoin.
As we express gratitude for the builders shaping the Bitcoin industry, it's crucial to acknowledge the role of platforms like BitDevs in bridging the gap between the virtual and physical worlds. In-person meetups foster connections, deepen understanding, and propel the Bitcoin ecosystem forward.
“As Bitcoin has grown, so too have the local communities of like minded enthusiasts who wish to learn from one another and connect on a deeper level. Each of these communities is unique in its own way, composed of individuals from all walks of life with different ideas about what Bitcoin is and what it is not. What it can do, and what it cannot. But no matter from what lense you view Bitcoin, you cannot escape certain shared beliefs, because without them Bitcoin would not exist. One most critical is that of open source software development––”standing on the shoulder’s of giants”––a principle that enables the seemingly endless chain of novel insights from which Bitcoin and its future improvements are built.
Inspired by this very ethos, the BitDevs NYC community fostered an in-person environment where technically focused dialogue could be used as a way of testing ideas, just in the same way software protocols are challenged in open networks. Instead of organizing meetups exclusively around presentations and lectures, events were styled as Socratic Seminars, such that open discourse underpinned each event, inviting a collaborative spirit that reflected the base principles of the Bitcoin protocol and cypherpunk spirit.” -bitdevs.org/cities

Building the future of money is a unique opportunity.
Bitcoin open source offers the hardest technical challenges, real impact and is designed to endure the test of time.
I wish we did a better job at communicating the benefits.
