In Budget 2026, we’re backing the Canadian artists who tell our stories. That means if you’re a Canadian artist, you won’t pay tax on up to $45,000 of income derived from your creative work.

Not loving this journalism trend crediting Taylor for political victories when she hasn’t said anything whatsoever about much of anything this entire decade

Taylor Swift says she wanted to make sure she wasn’t kicking anybody else off the ‘Toy Story 5’ soundtrack before agreeing to do ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’ — after leaving Pixar on hold while she completed the Eras Tour: “I was repeatedly asking, ‘I know that it took me a couple months to come back to this project. Be honest: Did you guys replace me? I don’t want to kick somebody off of this project that you reached out to after [me]. I understand, but I’m not in the business of doing that.'” (billboard.com/music/music-ne…)

Behind every train that sets off on its journey is the dedicated service of thousands of Ukrainian railway workers. They are the backbone of our logistics, transporting tens of thousands of people every day, ensuring connections between our cities, and maintaining Ukraine’s links with other countries. For the fifth year of the full-scale war, railway workers have continued working despite all the dangers. Russia is literally hunting Ukrainian locomotives, passenger trains, railway stations, and repair crews. Due to the shelling, railway workers are making safety stops, but Ukrzaliznytsia’s operations have never been interrupted or blocked. And this is an exceptionally high level of professionalism that commands respect far beyond our country’s borders. They are admirably handling challenges that no other railway in the world has even come close to facing. And these are our ordinary people, whose work keeps Ukrzaliznytsia and our logistics running. It is in the Ukrainian character to be so professional, to be courageous when necessary, to work, and to withstand immense Russian pressure through collective action and cooperation. We are proud of our railway workers – all the men and women who work for the company. We are deeply grateful to each and every one of you for your work. And we honor the memory of the railway workers who were killed in Russian strikes. It is important that their loved ones receive the support they need – from Ukrzaliznytsia and our society. Happy Ukrainian Railway Workers’ Day!

So you're telling me that starting ill-conceived, disastrous wars that send oil prices through the roof, wrecking the global economy, kissing totalitarian dictators' asses, humiliating friends and allies, openly engaging in corrupt schemes, behaving in public like a completely unhinged lunatic, dragging Ukraine through the mud and twisting its arms into a stupid capitulation, and groveling before Putin for a few petty corrupt handouts... ...is NOT the best election strategy in America?

I need everyone to pause and acknowledge Zelensky in all of this. Ukraine has been chipping away at bot farms...and they timed it perfectly so Trump and Elon and co wouldn't have time to "fix" the damage done to their false social media support The drop-off in bots was immediate and exposed things exactly when it was most important A hero in every sense, that guy.
