The @mlb rule does not define whether is batter swings or not based on the bat crossing the plate or a wrist turning over (even though the bat does cross the plate here) it’s a judgment call by the umpire on intent to hit the ball

Life long @Dodgers fan here. But plea to the organization: You’ve become hard to cheer for even amongst your own fans. Gouging fans for $75 for parking after they’ve bought playoff tickets. Overpaying free agents and renting players at the trade deadline. Undisciplined management
Get back to what made this organization strong. Appreciate your fans, make smart moves and not reckless ones because you can. Let’s not watch Rome burn because we won a few championships. Make strategic and disciplined moves. The Tucker and Diaz contracts were absurd.

The @Brewers are on the verge of not only winning the #NLCS they are on the verge of sweeping the two time defending #WorldSeries champion @Dodgers. There is a reason they won 103 games, they are the best team in the @mlb. Nobody should be surprised by this, but good for them

People losing their minds over permanent #DaylightSavings are the biggest bunch of irrational fear mongers. The “sunrise at 9am” argument is so bogus. We already know sunset at 4:30pm is causing depression. It’s not like the sunrise is changing by 3 hours, it’s 1 hour
What an excruciatingly boring @mlb #AllStarGame 27 strike outs between the two teams, don’t know what can be done to make it more watchable, but that was brutal. A lot of great pageantry surrounding the game, but the game itself was awful. At least the #HomeRunDerby was cool
I could never be a “single issue voter” but I’d strongly consider voting against any member of Congress who opposes making daylight savings permanent
