#Ida is a strong category 4 hurricane with max sustained winds of 150 mph. Rapid strengthening has leveled off as Ida approaches the Louisiana Gulf Coast. Damaging winds gusts are expected to cause widespread power outages in parts of Louisiana and Mississippi.
