To me (perhaps you disagree), this Vikings team does not look anywhere near a Super Bowl contender.
The injuries have become almost like a parody bit in a comedy film. They rank dead last in the NFL in penalties per play. And they're a bottom-5 team in offensive 3rd Down Conversion percentage.
I personally have no appetite for dinking around with Carson Wentz, hoping to possibly go 9-8 and maybe grab a 7th seed. Seen that movie before. Movie sucks.
I am okay with a developmental season for J.J. McCarthy, even if it ends in a losing record, because Wentz gives the team nothing in the long run. Absolutely nothing beyond 2025.
Start the guy you drafted in Round 1 when he's healthy. That part should not be a bold take.
