ICE takes orders from foreign nationals to arrest Americans
Replying to @TonyForLP
Fun fact: a Brazilian reporter went to Eduardo Bolsonaro’s home in Texas to ask questions about Flávio’s money laundering, and Eduardo Bolsonaro called ICE to have the reporter arrested. If the reporter hadn’t held dual citizenship, he would have been deported.

Rumors say Google is finally killing that terribly dumb AI Overview model at the top of search results. Yeah, that box hurt their ad click rates and burned through a massive amount of compute. Fixing their compute shortage is probably the biggest reason behind this move.

can't help think of the fact the Trump admin acted faster to get Brazilian Flavio Bolsonaro out of Brazil than they did to get Americans, like some of my own family, out of the Middle East when they randomly started a war of aggression. Really great stuff!

What Democrats have done in the Alaska Senate Race is a corrupt perversion of democracy & exactly what we can expect if they succeed in their quest to spread ranked choice voting elsewhere. Alaska must repeal ranked choice voting this year!

Vance is confronted by the emotional husband of a soldier killed in Iran War and acts like he had no idea anyone ever died: Q: It's a hard price to pay. There's a failure in the leadership. How will the leadership be held accountable? Vance: If there were failures... This is the first time I've heard of this.

The year is 2032. In a massive upset Governor Xavier Becerra is able to defeat Senator Troy Jackson in the Oregon Democratic presidential primary due to weak numbers out of Portland for Troy. Analysts are stunned and are unsure what could have caused this.

A conspiracy theorist dies and goes to heaven. When he arrives, God says, “Welcome. Ask me anything you want.” The man says, “I need to know: was Talarico in an Ohio mental hospital?” God says, “No.” The man pauses and then says, “Wow. This goes even higher than I thought.”

So about the egret… we were at ~9,500 in the eye and the pilot spots this egret. It’s not so close we are gonna hit it but it does go right in front of us at a slightly lower altitude. I’m busy with the radar and don’t have time to grab my camera but I did have the GoPro Max going. It’s not great footage but you can see the white speck going from right to left. I tell the weather officer he has gotta put it in the VDM for reasons… sure enough ten minutes later there are posts about it here on X.

Thermidor? Waterloo? World War? Capitalism? AI takeover? President Trump? Gaza? Le Pen? Sounds like a pretty bad dream, Citoyen. Come on, we're gonna be late for Robespierre's speech at the Champ de Mars celebrating Year V of the Republic.

one of the big problems in politics is that accurately describing Republican politics sounds insane "they're suing doctors for preventing childhood disease" makes you sound like a raving lunatic, but it's literally just mainstream GOP policy
