During our celebration of Dena Rise UP! accomplishments last Sunday, Eaton Fire survivors wrote their top issues moving forward on post-it notes. Artist Christopher Fuller turn those notes into a beautiful expression of community will. Take a look!
AAPI communities are among the fastest growing populations in California. But broad racial categories often obscure their diversity and hide inequities they face. A new RACE COUNTS report untangles CA AAPI communities' complex reality: bit.ly/RaceCountsAAPIreport
Our celebration of Dena Rise UP! 2026 successes was a moment for real fellowship and a chance to think about next year's priorities. Eaton Fire survivors wrote down top issues for the coalition to gather and artist Christopher Fuller to turn into an expression of community will.
There is enough money in this state to house the people who live in it. Who gets housed is a decision, and we make it by voting. Yes on 1 this election.
The choice: money for your kids, or for the top 2%? Prop 3 keeps $15 billion a year in California schools. Trump and his cronies already took health care and food money from California and handed it to billionaires. Schools could take the next hit. Yes on 3.

In CA, we the voters pick our leaders. Trump and his cronies fear that. Nine back Prop 39. It makes you write your ID on your ballot envelope for anyone to see--and use. Your ballot gets thrown out for errors: a name change, a wrong digit, some new rule. No on 39 this election.
Majorities now pass local funding ballot measures to backstop federal cuts to schools and parks. With Prop 43, we'd need two-thirds. The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, whose Prop 13 has drained local budgets for 50 years, wants to squeeze more. But you can vote NO ON 43.
Fourteen props on the CA ballot. Here are four that really matter:
No on 39: Keep your mail ballot secure.
No on 43: Majority vote wins local funding.
Yes on 3: Billionaires pay their share for our schools.
Yes on 1: Homes people can afford.
Vote early and DON'T FORGET THESE.
The choice: money for your kids, or for the top 2%? Prop 3 keeps $15 billion a year in CA schools. We approved this wealth tax twice. Prop 3 makes it permanent. Trump already took our health care and food aid to enrich billionaires. Schools must not take the next hit. Yes on 3.
