"He was raised in a racist city that pretends it isn't" Incredible statement from the Jeff Bennett, who ran for Ontario Progressive Conservative party in London in 2014, on the London terrorist attack.

A family of 5 in London, ON were deliberately struck by a motorist just for being Muslim, 4 have died. Don’t tell us #Islamophobia doesn’t exist in Canada. Don’t tell us racism doesn’t exist in Canada. Don’t tell us that the hate we feel every day for just existing isn’t real.

If you are 55+, one of the children could have been you. 215 children. Their potential children. Their potential children’s children. Entire generations erased. Literally.

I will add to those calling this out. These are the tears of a narcissist abuser who asks for your sympathy in the very moment that he is abusing you. This is textbook gaslighting. When we mistake this for empathy, he feels emboldened. It’s a dangerous cycle.
Premier Ford chokes back tears as he speaks about the hardships people are enduring through #covid19. Then the screen froze. I have never seen him this emotional before. #onpoli

My heart is with the friends & family of George Floyd today One verdict won't change an entire system, it won't eradicate the systemic racism embedded within our institutions But, in the memory of George Floyd, it is one small step in the right direction #justiceforgeorgefloyd

More powers for police won’t stop this virus. Vaccines and paid sick leave will.

Hey profs? - Read these 4 x 20+ page articles - watch this one hour movie - watch this 2 hour recorded lecture - post 3 discussion posts Is actually a ridiculous amount of weekly work on top of all the assignments and group work you’re giving us.

I love that everyone is talking about ending mental health stigma, but let’s also talk about access and cost barriers. End the stigma and make it accessible. #bellletstalk

Ontario twitter, use active language: "The province has no paid sick leave" can be rephrased as: "@fordnation eliminated paid sick leave in 2018" or "Doug Ford refuses to follow the advice of public health experts and reintroduce paid sick leave (which he eliminated in 2018)
